Room #904. Parking was provided (limited availability, but no problem if you check in early). Nice room, but noisy bunch of young people partying below us that evening and night, but I appreciate that can't be helped while the May VIII's are racing on the river (Bumps). We had some friends join us for supper in ”Keepers' restaurant and bar and were repeatedly hurried by the waitress to get our order in before 8:40pm ”because 9pm is when the chef goes home”. Well it didn't need a 'chef' truly, but the food was acceptable and reasonably priced at £120 for 4 including drinks. No chance of pud though, unless you had ordered it before the watershed. We had bought our own birthday cake, so we had that instead. I can't think of any other European countries where this would happen... We asked if we could leave our car in situ for a few hours after we checked out the following morning and we were accommodated with grace, which was very kind. A well-situated establishment, we paid £150 for the night for a double room in the new block.

This is a good hotel in central part of the city. We didn't use any of the facilities due to our short stay at the hotel. It looks quite decent and room was nice and cozy. Service was ok, but could be better if you get a proper greeting or a sort of welcoming that is expected at this level of hotels. Location is close to bus station and railway station, which is convenient if you are in/out of Oxford for a short stay.

The hotel is located in the city center, with very convenient access. You can find everything on foot. The room facilities are relatively complete and comfortable. The hygiene is very satisfactory. It is quiet and comfortable. I will stay here again next time.

Should you require breakfast is best to purchase it on the day you checked it as it will cost $15 instead of $18. This is a hotel converted from an old castle prison. It is very innovative. There are two types of rooms. One is a room converted from two cells, and the other is a normal room. The window of the room converted from the cell is a small upper window like in the prison. The normal room I booked has a balcony. It depends on everyone's preference. The room has a coffee machine and a towel heating rod. The shower room is small and the button area is large, but it takes some skills to press it. The first time I pressed it for a long time, it didn't trigger. The air conditioning in my room was slightly insufficient, but the hotel service staff actively solved the problem. The overall service was very warm and thoughtful, sharing town maps and so on, so despite the slight inconvenience, I still like the style and service of this hotel. The breakfast is also good, and the black pudding is awesome. In addition, some rooms have stairs in addition to the elevator. If you have large luggage, you can try to contact the hotel to use the small elevator, as shown in the last picture

A very satisfying stay. It is difficult to stay in a hotel with a large room at a low price in the UK. There is a horse farm nearby, the environment is quiet, the room is very clean, although it is a little far from the city center, the bus is very convenient, it takes 10 minutes to get to the city center, and it is not far to walk. The breakfast is quite rich.

The location of the hotel was very unexpected. I originally thought that I was looking for a hotel in the suburbs, and the surrounding area should be very empty and deserted. Before booking, I saw many reviews saying that the hotel parking lot was large and parking was very convenient. When I arrived at the hotel, I thought the navigation was wrong and confirmed again and again whether it was this hotel. The hotel is actually located in a residential area, surrounded by very dense residential buildings. The road is very small, with one lane in each direction. We arrived in the evening. Cars were parked on both sides of the road, each occupying half of the lane, leaving only a car-wide space in the middle of the road, and two-way traffic. There is no gate in the hotel area, and the parking lot and roadside parking spaces are integrated. On that day, an Indian family happened to hold a wedding at the hotel. The parking spaces and unmarked parking spaces at the entrance of the hotel were full of cars. We drove to the innermost and couldn't find a place to park. The hotel front desk asked us to find a parking space on the road by ourselves, and finally parked in a relatively far place. There is no business or catering around the hotel. The bus stop is a 6-minute walk from the hotel. Buses 3, 3A, and X40 can all go to Oxford Town Center (Hight Street), which is quite convenient.

Limited facilities provided. Only a restaurant and some toys for kids. Breakfast was good and tasty. Staff can be more trained to provide better services. Had an experience that when the cleaner cleaned my room, he or she just put some unopened rubbish bags inside the rubbish bins and I have to open the bags and wrap it into the rubbish bin by myself. Front desk had also lost my registered parcel they collected for me.

The look of this hotel looks very low-key! Even very inconspicuous, I arrived at night. After passing through the cemetery, I felt a little cautious in my heart, but I completely forgot when I entered the door. The hotel reception was small, with the restaurant, the atmosphere was very good, there was a small fireplace and bar, the hotel The waiter was also very enthusiastic. There was a Chinese lady who was very nice. The room was relatively large. The first night was a high-class room. It was quite big. The next day, the standard room was OK. The mattress was very comfortable. ! Hot water is also great! awesome

The hotel environment is great. Typical British scenery, green grass, gurgling creek, very quiet. The room is large, the bed is also large and comfortable. It is also quite convenient to take a bus to the city. I will stay here again in the future and highly recommend it.
