Instalações limpas e confortáveis. Funcionários atenciosos e gentis. O hotel não é muito centralizado, mas disponibiliza um transfer para o centro. Recomendo

Pousada do Arcanjo is a charming hotel located of the northern edge of Ouro Preto. The hotel is comfortable and offers 22 rooms in style. Free parking and Wi-Fi. Note that streets of the town are amongst the steepest on the planet. Walking is OK but you better be fit. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the centre. In the afternoon complimentary tea & cake is served. Staff is dressed in late 18-hundreds valet dress, and friendly & very helpful. Our room was nicely furnished and decorated, with a good queen-size bed, TV, air-conditioning, desk & chair, open wardrobe & fridge. We had a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. All was clean. The window can be opened. The buffet breakfast is very good: a choice of cookies & cakes, bread & rolls, ham & cheese, butter & marmalade, scrambled eggs, juice & fruits, cereals & yoghurt, tea & coffee. We found Pousada do Arcanjo comfortable, and we had a good stay. Highly recommended.

An amazing experience, well above our expectations. Excellent reception with very friendly and professional staff. Rooms were spacious, well decorated, great bed, cozy and comfortable. Bathroom has all essential amenities. Delicious breakfast. We dined a couple of evenings at the hotel and the restaurant was another good surprise, amazing food and very reasonable prices. Location was great, walking distance from all main historical attractions. Hotel offers free shuttle service, but I strongly recommend walking the beautiful streets of Ouro Preto. We will certainly return!

Hotel Pousada do Arcanjo was an excellent choice for us in Ouro Preto. The room was large and had more space than we expected. Their service was excellent - everyone working at the hotel was friendly, and would always be helpful. The location is really convenient, a nice 10 minute walk to Praca Tiradentes, the historic center. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner we ate there was very tasty. Highly recommended!

The hotel Pousada do Arcanjo is an excellent place to stay while visiting Ouro Preto. The manager Marco Abdo de Freitas studied management at New York's Ivy League Columbia University, which shows in his excellent management of the pousada. There is an exquisite attention to detail. The staff are not only friendly and highly cooperative, but they also all share a genuine concern for their guests. The rooms are clean and large with a nice bathroom and shower. Ouro Preto is a city of history and the Pousada Arcanjo reflects the city's amazing history. The hotel is comfortable and tastefully decorated in a historic style. The hotel is within walking distance of the town's main square, but there is also a shuttle bus that will drop you off at the main square and pick you up after a day of walking Ouro Preto's steep hills. The hotel is a great place to have a well made cocktail, but also a great place to have a dinner. The breakfast is super with an amazing variety of fresh fruits and local cheeses. Some hotels in the city center can be noisy, but one of the things we loved about the pousada is how peaceful it is at night. The bed was huge and very comfortable. As if all this was not enough, when the taxi was late coming to pick us up for the airport, the owner himself, concerned for our well-being, dropped us off himself. As New Yorkers who once ran a bed and breakfast, we can assure you that this is a quiet, clean and charming place to stay.
