Pros Friendly reception, nice territory, lake nearby Cons The hotel is old and has no elevator. The room was dirty, a lot of dust lot of spiders. Towels were torn, the hairdryer was covered with dust, the balcony was dirty, not cozy as photos say. The room was dark, doesn't match the photos. The only restaurant is far from Michelin and they have the same small menu for lunch and dinner. The food was tasty, but not something special, very simple. We were only one who didn't get the bread, though all German speaking people got it. The sommelier was terrible, no good manners and bad conversation. He didn't let us try the wine, just splashed it into the glass. It seemed that there were some discrimination because we don't speak German. We didn't expect it from Relais & Châteaux. Cannot recommend, will never come back.

We were really looking forward to our stay in the Gutshaus. We were a little taken aback by the first photo on the booking e-mail, which shows an old Porsche in front of a dilapidated barn. The room was ok, even if the price-performance ratio wasn't quite balanced in our opinion. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. That's probably one of the hotel's big plus points. The wellness area is very inviting and tastefully furnished. The sauna itself seems a little bit small, but that was no problem. What was a bit unusual was that you had to walk across the dark courtyard to get to the wellness area. This is also the case on the way to the alternative restaurant, the Old Fährkrug. A little more light on the bumpy road would be helpful. Especially when wet. So what is extraordinary about this location? Certainly the staff, certainly the absolutely quiet location and the beautiful surroundings. But you definitely come here, at least we do, because of the cuisine. Chef Christian Somann and his team surprised us in an unusual and absolutely impressive way. What an evening! Very great art! Unusual combinations, balanced flavors, artistic arrangements. That's why it's worth coming here and we'll definitely come back.

Unfortunately, this is counteracted by the fact that you almost break your ankles in the dark on the way to the alternative restaurant, the old Fährkrug. All the stables are lit, but the path is pitch black. The wellness area has a similar problem. You have to walk across the yard and all the lights are off even though it's already dark at 5 p.m. in November. It is very inviting and tastefully furnished, even though the sauna at home is larger than the one here. So what is extraordinary about this location? Certainly the staff, certainly the absolutely quiet location and the beautiful surroundings. But you definitely come here, at least we do, because of the cuisine. Chef Christian Somann and his team surprised us in an unusual and absolutely impressive way. What an evening! Truffles in unusual combinations, balanced flavors, artistic arrangements. Beautiful well kept property & grounds on the river. Very friendly staff apart from the porter on arrival, not particularly helpful. Bedroom was quite tight with all the furniture in it. Small mini bar with water, cokes & 1 beer. Turn down was literally pulling curtains and leaving a chocolate. No fresh towels or bins emptied. Other hotels of this standard provided much more indebt service. Breakfast was excellent with eggs cooked to order. Unfortunately the One Michelin restaurant was not open due to staffing difficulties so we ate in the hotels restaurant both nights, which offered fine dinning experience. Dishes were well presented, extremely flavoursome & excellently served. There is another more rustic restaurant by the river which we hope to try on another visit. The grounds, terraces & out door pool areas where beautifully kept.

...ganz, ganz selten schreiben wir eine Bewertung. Weder für ein Hotel, noch für ein Restaurant. Aber heute muss das einfach sein und wenn wir ehrlich sind, ist das die erste Bewertung. Warum ? Weil das, was uns heute an Herzlichkeit und Küche geboten wurde kannten wir bisher nicht in Mecklenburg Vorpommern. Weder in Heringsdorf, noch in Ahlbeck und von Bansin und den anderen Orten ganz zu schweigen. Ein Genuß auf ganzer Linie und das obwohl wir erst kurz vorher reserviert haben. Viel Erfolg weiterhin an das Team von Frau Christina von Wrede und liebe Grüße von Christina Krüger von der schönen Insel Usedom und Udo K. Giessing

Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen, die Seele baumeln zu lassen und den Alltag zu vergessen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig, romantisch und mit einem Hauch Nostalgie eingerichtet. Sehr sauber. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Gourmet Restaurant (1 Stern) ist sehr zu empfehlen. Aufwendige Gerichte, toll arrangiert und sehr lecker. Der dazugehörige „Fährkrug“ hat eine außergewöhnliche Terrasse direkt an der Peene mit gutbürgerlichen Gerichten, die schmecken. Der SPA-Bereich ist einladend gestaltet, der Pool beheizt und die Liegen sehr bequem. Alles hygienisch einwandfrei sauber! Wir waren nun zum 4. Mal hier und kommen gerne wieder.

Gemütliches Landhotel,für 240 Euro einfach zu teuer....bis 120 Euro...ok...Ausstattung gut..sehr hellhörig...sehr schöne Außenanlage,im Sommer sicher fantastisch mit Gartenfrühstück usw.Zimmer über der Küche war durch den Geschirrspüler nachts um 1,00Uh( es war sicher unser Geschirr von der Feier),wie ein,,Flugplatz"bis er endlich fertig war,dann himmlische Ruhe...

Das Gutshaus Stolpe ist ein Top Hotel! Die Lage ist wunderschön, das Personal ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommen, der Wellness-Bereich sehr gut und die Restaurants wirklich hervorragend. Wir werden wieder hinfahren.
