As soon as you land in Antigua, the 5 star Jumby Bay experience begins. We got the guided VIP treatment through customs, baggage claim & to the black car to the dock to take the ferry to the island. The Jumby staff are all fabulous to a fault. Everyone we met was professional, courteous & just extremely competent. Our villa's house manager, Rosie, was a rock star & got us everything we needed and answered so many, many questions. Our nanny, Rinelle, was absolutely wonderful. She used to be a teacher, which was a huge plus when my girls needed to do their hw. She was also really great w/ my half-potty trained toddler. One morning she played w/ the kids on the beach for hours while Mommy & Daddy relaxed in the shade. The food was delicious & accommodated any dietary restriction I could imagine, our kids loved Kids' Club & driving all over the island in the golf cart. We didn't do any of the water sports, but it looked like a great option. It did happen to be seaweed season while we were there, but a full-scale operation was in progress day & night to remove it all & keep it from getting too smelly. I cannot recommend this place enough. Love, love, love & can't wait to go back.

A wonderful experience from the moment you are picked up to the time you have to leave. If you are wanting to explore the island of Antigua this hotel probably isn't for you but if you are wanting total luxury and a great place to relax and enjoy a beautiful beach with fantastic meals it definitely is. Our room was beautiful with fine linens and towels and a gorgeous outside shower/bath area. Bikes are provided to tour the island. Our dinners at the Estate House were delicious in a stunning setting. We also thoroughly enjoyed the farm to table night. If we return we probably won't bother again with the beach BBQ.

Wonderful stay. We were in room 12. It’s a bit off to the side of the property. In fact, it’s the last room on the far right when looking at the property from the pier. It’s called a junior suite, but it’s really a studio — there is no partition between the seating area and the bed area. It has a very nice large bathroom, with outdoor shower and tub. The front patio area faces the ocean, but much of the view is obstructed by a hedge. The unit is attached to a larger unit (number 11) and can be incorporated into the bigger one for larger parties. We found it to be nice and quiet, but that’s partly because it’s off the beaten path on the edge of the hotel property. The complex is very inviting and enjoyable. We appreciated the low key style. Not a party central location. Relaxing music during lunch and dinners. Only one live band while we were there for the beach BBQ event. The music was appropriate for the evening. Not too loud, but still upbeat enough for the scene. Dining at the Estate House is also a must do. Fine dining menu. Great drinks from a jovial team at the bar. And never ending Taittinger, not just at the Estate House, but throughout the property. We drank our fair share! The beach palapa set up is very nice and inviting. We obtained an umbrella about midway on the beach. Far enough away from the beach bar not to hear anything but the lapping of the surf on the beach. And did it only lap. No heavy waves. Just a very gentle, easy going lapping sound. Very peaceful and quiet. We also enjoyed the bicycles. Riding around the island on them was fun.

Incredible! Every aspect of the trip was wonderful. We stayed for a week right before Christmas. The beach is beautiful, the food is delicious, and there were so many incredible activities that our children (age 3 1/2 and 1) loved. The staff was incredible. We accidentally crashed a staff event, and our daughter requested the band to play Purple Rain and they did and all of the staff joined in in dancing and clapping and were so welcoming. Highly recommend for anything from a couples retreat/honeymoon to family of young kids (like ours) or older children given the breadth of activities available. We definitely hope to come back!

Beautiful Resort, but it ends there! This is the place for you if you would like to spend$$$$ for not much in value for your ROI Front office staff is lovely bar the most senior manager who has short hair and was incredibly condescending towards me after I asked for a full refund just before dinner on day two of our stay… and I was in tears. -If you would like to have bird droppings in your outdoor bathtub and shower area, and on your terrace then JB if for you! -If you would like blue bottle caps in your entrance and terrace areas upon arrival then JB is for you! -If you would like to have many Blackbirds landing on your table and food for every breakfast at the only breakfast restaurant on property then JB is for you! -If you want to have literally NO Beach service for the first two days of your stay then JB is for you! We only had the most disingenuous service starting day three…after complaining?? -If you think it’s ok for employees to not say thank you for a tip given to them in hand personalized stationery then JB is for you! -If you would like to go to the worst West Indies buffet where the food is subpar and the band takes a break during a very short meal time period then JB is for you! -If you don’t mind listening to other guests’ music at the adult pool and having their children allowed to swim at the adult pool then JB is for you! -If you would like to complain to the property manager about your stay you may get a night’s compensation but she will only do so after AMEX was involved…so if you would like to experience “that” then JB is for you! Big time for you!

A very unique experience in Antigua from the time they pick you with the ferry till you depart. A beautiful quiet island that is full of aqua activities all the suites have a small outdoor jacuzzi and every night they leave you a painted shell as a souvenir. If you are going for business think twice this island is made for fun and sun. Going to the main land it’s only possible with a ferry that leave every hour but you can order one as well to suit your time so if you forget anything in the room you cannot go back quickly and get it. Definitely I will visit again with the family

I just returned from Jumby Bay in Antigua (former Rosewood property, now owned by Oetker same parent company as Eden Rock in St. Barths and Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in France) celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday and it has been one of the best service experiences I’ve ever experienced. It’s on a private island, less than 10 minutes by a hotel provided boat from the airport (3.5 hour direct flight from JFK) where someone from the resort meets you at the airport and expedites the Customs and Immigration process. Everything is inclusive with multiple dining options and extremely high end I.e. Taittinger Champagne, all Casamigos varieties, rum/wine tastings, fitness classes, tennis clinics for both adults and children, water sports: water tubing, wakeboarding, waterskiing, snorkeling etc The property is ideal for all ages, the kids club is complimentary ages 3-11 (as long as potty trained) and offer babysitting services at an additional charge, they also have a playground. They have 3 pools, 1 being adults only. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with a plunge pool, they honestly think of everything as the doors leading to it are child proof (and if we’re being honest, Melissa proofed as well🤦🏼♀️🤣) Set on 300 lush acres with 40 suites, 14 villas and 21 residences to rent (Oprah, Justin Bieber, Robert DeNiro and Lionel Messi have all rented.) I truly can’t recommend the property enough.

This place is pretty incredible. As others have stated, your arrival and departure at the airport is totally VIP. They whisk you through all aspects of customs, bag retrieval/check-in, transportation (a Maybach!). Because you are on a private island, the food at the resort is important. We agreed that we have never been to a place with better all-around food. So fresh - seafood of course - but they have an abundant farm that they use creatively and also absolutely amazing breads, pastries and desserts. Never did we wish that we had access to outside restaurants. As a couple that have recently quit drinking, I was nervous about the "all-inclusive aspect". This was immediately alleviated when upon arrival, they offered a welcome beverage from a tray of both alcohol and alcohol free choices - a trend that continued throughout the stay. The service was very good and super friendly. Shout out to Jackie, Tamara, Akeila, Jasian, Suzie, Giant, and Brent. The 5 days spent at Jumby Bay turned out to be the best vacation we have had in a long time. We will definitely be back!
