The Commemoration Plaque reads " Dedicated to the Glory of God and the Service of india and all Mankind on 8th April 1929.The Gift of Friends is the United states of India of America to the Young Women's Christian Association of India, Burma and Ceylon. Covering an extensive area, the Bungalows of lime mortar and stoped roofs add a quaint charm to the place and is a good example of early twentieth century architecture. A Conference / Marriage Hall with a dining hall, Kitchen and dormitories with 24 hours water supply is also available for public service. 50/50 average stay experience, calm environment, staff is helpful, rooms need refreshing. Food was good.

The stay at YWCA Anandagiri was pathetic.
No staff came to clean washroom (which by the way was not attached to the room) or change bedsheets.
The room was old and damaged and water jugs and other cutlery were damaged too.
Resturant staff was rude and unprofessional not just to us but to other guests as well.
Definetly not worth spending a penny at this place. Dead vibe place.

Ywca anandgiri was located in middle of city on ettines road so location is good, had ample parking space as well, bed was small in length compared to 6 ft person, cleanliness was okay, for warm water kettle was not there so had to ask warm water each time from reception. Restaurant had both veg and non veg options so couldn't eat. Overall average stay with few things which can be improved also i stayed in bungalow which cost 2500 per person if you book directly but mmt charged me 3k per night which is 500 more per night.

Stay was excellent. Staff decent and submissive. Food was also excellent. In nut shell a decent experience. Recommend to everyone please. Merry christmas celebration in ooty ywca guest house, ootcamund nilgiris. Just beware, there are no heaters in any of the rooms. And they have fire places with no wood. Enjoy!

It was more like a cottage than airbnb. It had mouse. It was too cold. It didn't have any kitchen or balcony. However the room service was very good and the resturant of it too.

From the moment i walked into my room, i was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The room was spotless, with fresh linens, a clean and well-maintained bathroom, and a pleasant, inviting scent. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job throughout my stay.
