Tattykeel House

I have travelled extensively and stayed in huge to tiny places and without a shadow of doubt have never received as warm, friendly and lovely hospitality as I did at Tattykeel House. I haven't ever met a lady as lovely as my granny was and for one night and morning, I felt as though she was back with me, Kathleen was just the loveliest of ladies, very interesting and interested! Hugh was equally as lovely and both were such good company, all the little touches from hot water bottle to tea on arrival, just really special people. The room itself was great and I've returned home two stone heavier haha, thank you Kathleen and Hugh for your hospitality and you will see me again x

A big thank you to Kathleen and Hugh for a wonderful stay. My husband and I were in the area to see some family history sites and we couldn't have asked for warmer, more gracious, helpful or knowledgeable hosts! It was so nice to come back to their hospitality after a long day of touring the countryside. Had a wonderful time chatting with both - Kathleen about her art (a shared interest) and Hugh about local history and sights. Kathleen's breakfasts, as well as her homemade shortbread, are a treat not to be missed. in fact, we enjoyed the comfy beds, lovely views, and garden so much that we debated staying an extra day - but more adventures called! We felt very welcomed into their home and would definitely stay again.

A beautiful house in lovely grounds and the nicest hosts ever. So friendly and helpful. They have obviously paid great attention to ensuring the rooms had every possible comfort. So windows that open, black out blinds, adequate plug sockets, lovely toiletries, very comfortable beds, Great choice of teas, coffee and biscuit in the refreshment area on the landing. It was like being a guest of friends rather than staying in a paid B&B. They even gave us a lift into town and were genuinely hospitable. Stay here if you can. It's great.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home surrounded by beautiful gardens. Kathleen and Hugh are so gracious and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. It is a quiet and peaceful retreat, but also very close to the center of Omagh and a great location for day trips. Kathleen is an artist and her work is displayed throughout their home but a visit to her studio is a must. Hugh can provide a wealth of information about Irish history and ancestry. We highly recommend Tattykeel House!

Thoroughly enjoyable Stay in Tattykeel House We attended the Ulster Park Bluegrass Festival on 28h May and stayed in Tattykeel. Kathleen and Hugh Ward make you feel that you are more than a guest in their home with their kindness, natural warmth and hospitality. Their helpfulness to us in many ways during our stay was greatly appreciated. Their high standards are apparent in their beautiful house and gardens together with excellent choices for breakfast. Staying with them (which we have done on a number of occasions) is part of the enjoyment of our visit to Omagh. The service and accommodation in Tattykeel are better than some Four- and Five-Star Hotels we have stayed in recently. We would highly recommend Tattykeel House.
