PPalinalenaIf you plan to travel the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, this hotel is your best choice. The bus stop to Ogizawa and Shinano-Omachi station are right in front of the hotel. They also provide luggage forwarding service to Toyama station for those who do the one-way trip on the tateyama kurobe alpine route, which allow you to travel super early as you don't have to wait until the luggage forwarding service (at shinano omachi station) open at 7.50am. The room is clean. The price is reasonable+ come with complimentary breakfast. 10/10 would recommend.

GGuest UserThe hotel service staff is not very good. They helped me book a shuttle bus. At first, they said it was ready, but later they told me that it was out of stock and asked me to order a taxi. They did not remind me to go to the ski resort during reception. The steamed buns baked in the afternoon were more in form than in substance. When cleaning the room, I asked to change clothes of the same size, but they were still one large and one small. Then they only gave me one coat. I felt that the service did not communicate. There were a lot of food, but it was average. The form was more important than the content. For a hotel of this level, the mini bar is charged. When checking out, the staff seemed to have poor math skills. They should have refunded 1,000 yen, but they only refunded 900 yen. They couldn't figure out the bill.

GGuest Userthe location is a bit far from the bus station but it's good that shuttle bus service is provided free of charge, the best thing is the dinner set with more than 10 dishes and all are very delicious, the onsen is also very relaxing with both indoor and outdoor, all staffs are very nice and polite

SseeseaflyWe stayed in the hotel for one week. We like the hotel a lot.
- Staff are nice and helpful, especially a passionate guy at the front desk. They helped us book restaurants and deal with toll payment.
- Breakfast is great. We haven’t felt bored after one week given many varieties. Especially they have “today’s special”, different omelette every day. We like the wasabi cheese omelette. On the other hand, dinner buffet was ordinary. Food became cold. With the same price, we had a nice 7-course French dinner in a nearby restaurant.
- Room is nice and clean, although a bit small. Bed is comfortable with different pillows. We have some difficulty to allocate our big suitcase in the room without block the way.
However, we noticed poor management for laundry room and emergency cases.
- There are only two washing machines. Some people put clothes on washing machines or nearby for queuing. We waited in-person for 15min several times, but someone claimed they came earlier, or said they need to add additional time for dry. We had to wait until midnight to do laundry.
- Nice onsen, but poor emergency handling. One day I heard voices from speaker for ＞15min during shower, and then realized it was from a cell phone when I was in indoor bath pool. A lady with black glasses was using the phone in the pool (not sure if taking photos or videos)! I felt very uncomfortable and went to the outdoor onsen. But she came to outdoor onsen shortly. I went back to indoor onsen, and saw the phone on a chair beside the indoor onsen. Another guest also expressed her concern to me. I called emergency phone in changing room, said three times “someone is using cell phone in bathing area, please send a female staff asap”. Unfortunately the guy who answered the call does not understand English. 5mins later he came to the door of changing room, asking who called SOS. I told him again, and he finally understood, but did nothing except asked my room number. After we checked out the next day, the guy saw me and told me in Japanese that “sorry,but we will improve in future” (showed English translation to me).
I was very disappointed. 1) Why did the hotel ask a guy who doesn’t understand English to take care of female onsen? What if someone fainted? 2) No actions were taken after I reported issue. No one came to stop the issue, no one checked whether inappropriate photos/videos were taken.
Whole staff are nice, the hotel is poorly managed in some places.

GGuest UserThe starting point in front of Tateyama Kurobe is very convenient, the room is large, the equipment is good, the staff is good, the service is good, especially Mr. Jin from China, he is polite, attentive and helpful, a first-class waiter

Hh0yuAlthough the building is old, the service was very good and it was a very pleasant stay.
The food was also very satisfying, and the breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful. I was amazed that the food was replenished even 10 minutes before breakfast finished!
The bath was also spacious and very comfortable!
The view from the room was also beautiful!

ZZHAOWENBecause Japanese did not communicate a lot of time, but still very patient, very kind, friendly to assist in check-in and introduce surrounding shops, and assist in the next day luggage delivery.
The accommodation space and the public pool are warm and comfortable, and there is space on the top floor to empty, rest and watch the stars.
The location is very close to the station, it is very recommended for people who have to leave early the next day to Tayama Kurobe!

4.5 hour drive from Narita Airport to the hotel
Check in is already more than 12 am
The hotel staff checked in for us after get off work 
But it is snowing, there are mountain roads in the snow that are not open and there is no enclosure.
Mistake walked in because the mountain road that was not open did not shovel snow
The car is snowing.
Haocai is not far from the hotel
Hotel staff will help us soon  trailer
Hotel service is very good, very satisfied
There is a cooking stove and tableware in the room
Very convenient.
The snow outside the hotel is so beautiful

The room is new and clean, overlooking the snowy scenery of Tateyama
There is a large public bath
However, guests must check in at 3:00pm, which lacks flexibility and requires guests to wait for a long time to check in at the same time. I hope the hotel can improve and be flexible! !
Moreover, Trip.com has deducted the fee from my credit card, but I have to pay again after arriving at the store. Of course trip.com said it would refund the fee, but now I have deducted a double fee, which is very unreasonable.

AAmsal LakhaniVery very helpful staff. We had injury when we arrived here and stayed for 3 nights and the staff was very cooperative and helpful during this time of distress.
