Sahra Su Holiday Village & Spa

We have just returned home from Sahra Su and were extremely disappointed. Having read the reviews on TripAdvisor we expected so much more from our break. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere however on arrival the grounds beyond the gate were very well maintained. This has to be one of the few positives. We entered the lobby which felt like an old peoples home and checked in before being led to our room, the stairwells felt musty and smoky, the carpet on the floor was faded and worn and first impressions were not good. Upon entering the room we both looked at one another in disgust. The walls were marked and dirty, as was the poor quality furniture. Skirting boards half hanging off, doors all marked and chipped, lamps many and poor state - the entire room from floor to ceiling was grotty. We returned to reception immediately and complained and was offered another room. The staff member escorted us down, no apology or conversation and too busy on his phone - the staff seemed completely disinterested. The second room, whilst slightly better was still pretty poor and nothing like we saw on any of the images. The whole thing just needed a complete refurb. We returned back to reception again to voice our dissatisfaction and asked to be upgraded, the staff initially advised us there was no rooms before changing tack and telling us we could move for an additional cost of £20 per night!? Not sure why we would pay more for something sub par, when we told them it was not what was expected their answer - "what was you expecting for a 3* ?" Given the hotel is advertised on EasyJet as a 4* we were both a little taken back. The manager refused to help further, pretty much shrugging his shoulders - we advised we would inform easyjet which we subsequently did and raised a complaint which led to them later issuing us with a partial refund - nowhere near what we had hoped for. We went back to the room and unpacked, annoyed and fed up - thankfully we were only here for 5 days and at least the sun was shining. The resort grounds and gardens were well kept, as stated before this is a few of the positives. A detailed list of pros/cons we found are listed below. Pros ----- Gardens well kept Cats are friendly, well looked after and a bonus to any cat lover The sunshine (obviously not hotel specific) Food was ok'ish in terms of selection - listed as a pro since there are so few others Cons -------- Rooms are grotty, poor quality and badly needing a refurbishment Most of the staff are disinterested Breakfast - opens at 7:30am yet Omelettes not available until 8am!? Staff Service in the restaurant is hit and miss, the odd few are ok - most don't even get you a drink Some of the food is luke warm The toaster (of which there is one is half working) The coffee machines - worst coffee we have ever tasted, weak even as double espresso Cereals - Milk in cartons, left warm by the side of the cereals and bowls!? 4th visit to this beautiful hotel, staff all of you work so so hard to make peoples holiday special, special thanks to TEDDY in reception, FRANK in reception, onur dill the manager of the hotel, the lovely lady in the spa sorry i can’t remember your name, Ali on the pool bar and many many more, all the restaurant staff bar staff cleaning staff your are all lovely people… we have just got home yesterday and already booking again for next year… thank you all so much

This hotel is was so good for a friends/couples holiday. We had a villa right next to the pool where we had a upstairs with bedroom and bathroom and downstairs, all the staff are lovely I’m not sure of Ozzy still works there or R2 but if so they are amazing staff! On a Wednesday they have a night out where you go to the town and the reps come with you we had a brilliant night so much food there like friends on a night out l,we met some lovely girls there who became friends what made the night out fun. The food was a hit and miss but I’m a fussy eater but there as always something for me,my friends all enjoyed it. There wasn’t a lot to do in the hotel what is a downfall but they had music on what helps. In the day they have waffle time and there is someone walking along the pool with fresh fruit asking if you would like some. At the entrance they have a button you press of you would like a taxi what makes it so much easier instead of getting the reception to call on. You had a towel card where you would take your dirty towel back and get a clean one. Our room was cleaned every day we were there with fresh fizzy drinks in both fridges and water. There is a mini market right next to the pool they blow inflatables up for you and have everything you can imagine. Of the hotel was updated it would be so much better but all in all we had a brilliant time!

Absolutely loved our stay in the swim up bungalows. The staff go above and beyond. Food isn’t for everyone but I had no problem finding something I liked every day. If there’s nothing in the restaurant then the grill bar will satisfy. All staff were fantastic but a big shout out to Samet, Onur, Nihat and of course Frank. If there’s a problem they will sort it. Hopefully will be returning next year

We went from 7-14th October 2024 with my 1.5yr old/husband and family. Honestly can say one of the best hotels I have been to! A few changes needed but overal lovely! They have plenty of sun loungers, lovely pool will be cold but will warm up! They have a pool bar and one near snack bar! Lunch, snack and dinner are brilliant! Plenty of choice! I’d say snack bar is amazing! Try the fried chicken!! Plenty of cocktails and drinks! They did run out of Malibu (coconut rum) a lot but talk to frank and he will sort you out! Rooms are clean and fine, they are very clean here which is nice to see! You can get a taxi into town for 200L or 300L as two different choices to shop. The swim up rooms are lovely, there is a water slide which is fun for kids and adults too haha! Negatives are breakfast is SHOCKING, worse meal of the 3! There is only 1 female and 1 male toilet near pool so need more, entertainment needs a change up abit more! Ice cream is only 3-5pm I’d say be nice could get one abit earlier. The park/play area is so out dated and needs a clean! The little shop by the pool is EXPENSIVE, someone brought a tooth brush for £5 and a toy car for little one £8! Now my worst problem was the beds which was 2 single put together now I can handle that but wouldn’t I couldn’t have is the duvets are not big enough for the beds me and my husband had to have a blanket each. It was shocking. I honestly recommended this hotel to anyone, as anywhere we can find something to moan or improve on but I would come back to this hotel again! P.s lover cats there around the hotel if you like them haha!

We had an amazing holiday at Sahra Su Holiday Village and Spa! From the moment we stepped into the resort, we were welcomed with warmth. Frank and Teddy, in particular, added so much joy to our holiday with their friendliness and helpfulness. They were always by our side, attending to all our needs with great care. They created unforgettable memories for both the kids and us adults. I would also like to extend a special thanks to Manager Onur, who, along with his team, provided excellent service and swiftly resolved any issues, ensuring we had a comfortable stay. Sahra Su is not just a comfortable hotel but offers a warm and friendly family atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back!
