Karbel Beach Hotel

Great stay at Karbel Beach, it’s a small Hotel the staff are so nice and make you feel very welcome. The location is perfect for shops bars , restaurants and a few minutes walk to the sand and pebble beach. Rooms are basic , comfortable and clean, breakfast is simple but more than enough choice and will cook fresh omelettes if you like. Snack bar at the pool is good too all reasonable prices.

One of the worst hotels I have had the misfortune to stay at! On arrival we were met by a member of staff who didn’t speak or understand English - we were given a room key, but no indication where the room was located! When we found the room , we discovered it was below ground level, without even the most basic of toiletries-not even toilet roll! It took google translate to obtain some toilet roll, even then it was taken from an empty room, not even a new roll! The following morning there was no water for a shower, or to flush the toilet and the receptionist had no idea when it would be back on “I am just reception” was the explanation. Breakfast offering was extremely poor, very limited with only half of the dishes set out containing anything. No fresh fruit available and the coffee was the most disgusting I have ever tasted. Our promised Garden View room was eye level to a pool table with a road beyond that, the floor covered in artificial grass. We fortunately managed to find an alternative hotel further away from the beach, but where customer service was second to none.

Ok well it’s clean and small that’s the only thing I can say positive..on getting to hotel late no drink or food offered but that’s pretty standard went in room we said we asked for ground floor double he said push your beds together the room we had been given was in was a down stairs by stairs (I’ve a really bad knee ) and two singles .room was very small bathroom had a smell to it .but had been kept clean ..hotel had been halved before we got there making it very small told the other half had been sold off food was not good and we couldn’t eat any off it learned afterwards it was brought in by different hotel didn’t know what most was and rest was dry and not fresh bar food was over cooked and dry staff no where to seen half the time and where outside smoking or on phones although this hotel was kept clean

Found d this hotel some time ago when we were in the area. location perfect for those beach days but have to say very different in reality The hotel, if no longer the same size, seems to have been divided by the Berlin Wall put up, and now 2 hotels Hotel very basic but als very clean Staff ok but wouldn't say welcoming and certainly never stood out Only stayed around the pool, maybe 2 days music on a loop and even playing. we wish you a merry Christmas "really" Breakfast is very repeatative, and when gone gone, you can ask for a replacement, but don't always get it We've been coming to Turkey for over 25 years, and my husband, who is very easygoing and loves turkish breakfast, wasn't impressed If you order a drink by pool, you can't pay cash and have to pay at reception You can change money at the hotel and do get a good rate Have to say enjoyed our holiday and made the best of what we had we had family scattered around in different hotels and spent days around thiers Great location if you love the beach, which was the reason we chose this hotel Overall, it was a very basic but good location. I feel a little overpriced for quality. Unfortunately, it won't be one we go back to which is sad

Unfortunately I m very sorry to say but the place has gone downhill massively since we were last here . Due to a family fued the hotel has been divided into 2 . Current staff rude . Breakfast poor chef ( egg cook )has bad attitude . He is constantly out the front smoking and on his phone. When he eventually comes in there is no hand washing . No manners or even a smile . 1 member of the bar staff is also the same .We dont use the bar So disappointed to be writing this review . This beautiful little gem has lost its sparkle . Seems like the place has been forgotten.

3 adults and 3 children, first time turkey and what a great stay this was. not crowded, plenty of room in or out of the pool.excellant staff including cleaners.Aircon at no extra cost and linen changed several times.decent breakfast choice and good snack bar meals.Room 203 , look out for the tortoises that come to the balcony now and again. Spot on location wise for beach or shopping. Would deffinatly book again
