We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was genuinely excellent, several serious issues made our stay far from enjoyable. Our room was in very poor condition — the floor was so dirty that our feet turned black from walking around barefoot. There was visible mold on the door and a strong smell of mold in the room, which was really unpleasant. The bathtub water ran brown and murky, and it took the hotel four days to fix it. Even worse, our children developed a skin infection, likely from the dirty room or water. When we saw the hotel doctor, they were very unfriendly and tried to blame it on us. Because the infection was contagious, the kids were not allowed to go to the kids club for the rest of the trip, which was incredibly disappointing. Other issues included the elevator frequently not working — we had to carry two kids and a stroller up five flights of stairs multiple times. There was also a random fire alarm at 4 a.m. one night, which woke everyone up. It turned out to be a false alarm, and nobody from the hotel even addressed it afterward. It seems the infrastructure is old and poorly maintained. It’s a shame, because the staff (aside from the doctor) and food were highlights. But overall, we wouldn't return and cannot recommend this hotel until major improvements are made to cleanliness, maintenance, and guest communication.
