I booked a tour through the hotel, in which they organized for a shuttle to come pick me up. I was in lobby well ahead of time (40 mins before scheduled time), only to find out 15 minutes before my tour that the van broke down. When I asked the staff to help me out, they got me a taxi that cost me almost $40 CDN as opposed to the van. (had I known with notice that the van was down I would have called myself an uber which was $10 CDN. I paid a premium for a service issue that was all on the hotel/tour side when I shouldn't have. When mentioned to the staff he shrugged and said "that's what it cost to get you there quickly" (again not my fault there was delay)
