"This is a fantastic small-scale hotel, quietly located a short distance (16 km) from Faro airport. Nice spacious clean rooms with a beautiful view. Lovely bed and nice shower. Rooms were cleaned every day. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, eggs are made for you the way you want them. Dinner was all tasty too. Beautiful garden at the complex with ponds with turtles in them. We cannot find any downsides for this hotel! This hotel gets a big 10 from us!!"

"The positive: Gino and Rose are very friendly hosts. Rose is very smiling, Gino speaks several languages. The little extra of picking us up at the airport. The breakfast was plentiful and very good. The location of the accommodation is also great. The negative: Cleanliness of the studio, could do better compared to the rooms offered. A 'refreshment' and a touch of modernity will be welcome afterwards!"

"The hotel was the first stop on our Algarve/Lisbon road trip and is an excellent starting point for exploring the area. The spacious grounds are located away from the tourist crowds in the countryside. A rental car is definitely necessary. Faro and Olhão are easily accessible for initial explorations. The hotel boasts a large garden with numerous plants and water features. The grounds are visually appealing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive to all guests' needs. We ate dinner twice in the hotel restaurant. The food was quite decent, and the price-performance ratio was perfectly acceptable. However, there were no culinary highlights. The room was a bit of a letdown. It was rather basic and a little too small. The furnishings seemed uninspired and somewhat outdated. Cleanliness and amenities were adequate, but overall, this warrants a point deduction. Despite this, Dos Poetas remains a highly recommended option."
