"We stayed here for four nights. Beautiful rooms - thoughtful decor, high end, every element considered. The breakfast is exceptional - the choice is plentiful and great quality. With only eight rooms, it’s never stressful. No other meals served - for us this with perfect, as were to see friends so we were out the rest of time anyway. Lovely little swimming pool. The hosts are so friendly and helpful for every little detail - they go out of their way to make you feel special. We honestly felt as though we were staying in a small exclusive location Good luck to the hosts for the future of this agro turismo. We would recommend it strongly."

"Casa Rosa Villa is a gem of a small hotel. It is spotless, breakfast simple and delightful. My daughter and I had Room 1 which we thought at first, would be a bit noisy as it is at the front on a main road but it was so quiet. A big room with huge bathroom with great walk-in shower. Nothing was too much trouble. Transfers were arranged and taxis during our stay. The restaurants recommended on the website are well worth a visit, ChaChaCha and GNO being particularly excellent. The area is charming with narrow streets with interesting tiles. Highly recommended and well done David and Callum and thanks to Marcus, Sara and the team."

"Gorgeous room. Such a traditional building. Our favourite part was taking our wine onto the rooftop veranda every night to watch the sun go down and the world go by. The breakfast here is also the best I have had in Portugal. Fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries, eggs, nuts, homemade cakes and press your own fresh orange juices, fresh coffee and a range of teas, spoilt for choice and set us all the way up until the evening! We also borrowed a parasol and picnic blanket. We packed light and had everything we needed, its a home away from home so everything you need, you can find in the house to borrow- iron, bottle opener, all the cooking utensils and servers to cook for yourself … everything is here. Will return! Oh and speak with the managers about the house, it has a fascinating history and the modern decor is all connected to it."

"It is a very beautiful place, but the owners manage with volunteers instead of hiring employees. Although the volunteers are friendly, during my conversation with them, I learned that they and the animals are treated badly. When you think about how hygienically can a volunteer clean your sheets and makes your bed, question marks remain in your mind. I'm sorry for the volunteers who had a bad experience there."

"The place is dying and in dire need of repairs. Things like the front door doesn't open to the reception area and many tiles need to be replaced around the pool. The pool was not even operational or full. The laundry room is a joke full of dirty laundry and machines that don't work. There is a falling down event tent which is an eyesore. The property is not maintained properly. No one seems to care that it is maintained or not."
