"This property is a very good example that also a bit older hotel can be pleasant if there is a professional management: we felt welcom from the beginning, the lady owner and he husband do help at breakfast and reception from time to time and staff really makes guest feel 100% welcome. Excellent breakfast (included in all rates) with made to order eggs (just crepes I'd have been missing), top quality fruits, real sumo natural (!!) - coffee as everywhere in hotels... - overall highly recommend if you want to stay a bit away from busy beaches, car is needed!"

They paid so much attention to detail; the decor with all the plants on the rooftop terrace was incredibly cozy and inviting. A wonderfully thoughtful and thoughtful concept. The highlight was the service; the staff made me feel so warmly welcomed, the energy was amazing, and the atmosphere was so inviting. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. I would come back here again in a heartbeat!! ♥️"

"If only I'd trusted the negative reviews. Picture the scene: a woman in her 60s travelling alone to a foreign country, to be met at the airport by a taxi driver - not the 'free shuttle' she'd been promised - who could say only that the room had been cancelled and he'd been asked to take me to another hotel. Frantic attempted communication with the owner ensued, but he wasn’t answering his phone. My only option was to search for alternative accommodation for the evening – I had booked an apartment for the rest of my stay. Thanks to B&B Hotel for stepping into the breach. However, the taxi cost me 30 Euros. Had I known I would’ve needed one, I could have had an Uber for 10. I tried messaging Gino the next day to find out what had happened, only to be told that he needed to return to Belgium on ‘urgent family business’ and had to close the hotel. Strangely enough, every search engine showed that it was open and available that evening. Avoid, if you don’t want unnecessary trauma right at the start of your holiday."

"It is a very beautiful place, but the owners manage with volunteers instead of hiring employees. Although the volunteers are friendly, during my conversation with them, I learned that they and the animals are treated badly. When you think about how hygienically can a volunteer clean your sheets and makes your bed, question marks remain in your mind. I'm sorry for the volunteers who had a bad experience there."

"We stayed for 2 nights at the beginning of August and were blown away, we felt as though we were staying in a small boutique hotel. The room was exceptional, clean and extremely well-equipped. The whole property was so thoughtfully decorated with traditional Portuguese touches and it was so lovely to see so many family heirlooms being used, we felt as though we were staying with family rather than hosts. The pool area was never crowded and there were plenty of comfortable sun-loungers with umbrellas for shade. Breakfast was wonderful and all staff were incredibly friendly. We wish this family every success for the future and will be certain to stay again - a true Algarvian gem!"
