The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly at reception and in the breakfast room. We attended the NYE event and although I had requested to be seated with friends, this was not the case and we had to move tables and chairs around. The buffet food was ok although I think there should have been more set out as I queued for 40 minutes to get food. We were also amazed to be told, by a member of staff, that we could only have one piece of cake. At £50 per ticket we found this disappointing.

Budget hotel. What you see is what your get. The room looked pretty nice in fairness. Reception has vending machines and there’s access to several shops across the road. Place might look a little dated like outside the rooms and in the bathroom. I had trouble getting hot water. Seems to be a pressure issue on that particular side of the hotel. HOWEVER, the staff member on that day went above and beyond in fixing the issue. I really appreciated that. I would stay here again for that price.
