The owner was extremely rude and selfish. Charged us a $30 cancellation fee because we decided to cancel our stay due to their severe mold issue in room 37. Customer service was appauling. Will be sure to spread word on this as we enjoy visiting Adirodacks often and have lots of friends in the area.

Is this motel fancy? Nope! is it clean with an amazingly friendly and helpful staff!! Yes!! It really comes down to location. It is perfect! Beach and playground right across the street, clean comfortable rooms. You can walk to EVERYTHING! Had an amazing weekend with my grandchildren and will come back every year.

A family of 5, 3 teenagers. We went with another family for the weekend. This place is family owned. The family were lovely. From Haley to her lovely mother Haley. It’s not 5 star, but it was very clean and very comfortable. The staff were lovely, and very friendly. We had 0 problems. It was a cloudy weekend, so the indoor pool was a nice clean distraction for them. I highly recommend this place. We will be back next year.

I booked this room, I checked in and did not even go in the room yet, I got a call my dad got sent to the hospital and had to go home immediately. When i called and begged for even a partial refund the girl was very rude and told me she “watched me go in the room” and can’t refund me because they would now have to reclean it. I in fact did not go in the room. Now I am out $200 and have to go home to horrible news. People have no hearts anymore.

We had two beautiful rooms that each had three double beds in them! Never had this option anywhere before and we had just as much room to move around as you did with a two bed room. Plus there was an awesome screened in porch to spread out in as well as chairs out front. It always rains when we go on vacation why I booked this place with an inside pool (clean)which the kids took advantage of. Easy walking distance to town, lake and to the waterpark, morning coffee!

I was not staying there just had a bathroom emergency. The public restrooms that I was aware of were closed for cleaning. I couldn't wait any longer and made my way into the Clarks Beach Motel. The rude lady in the front kicked me out due to the bathrooms not being public. I get it. But emergencies happen. I was stuck. She was nice enough to point me in the direction to the beach restrooms but then followed that with a rude comment and an unpleasant name that I won't repeat. The only thing I did wrong was enter her establishment in the first place. I did not argue. I was apologetic and appreciative when she told me which bathroom I could use. The name calling and the rude comment was a little bonus as I walked out the door. Can't believe she runs a "family friendly" motel.
