From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff were welcoming and accommodating. The staff assisted me with bringing my luggage to the room, and were so pleased to welcome us. The room itself was perfect, all nicely prepared with the double sofa all nicely made up, and spotlessly clean. The large bed was extremely comfortable, and the en-suite looked quite new, sparkling clean, but the best was yet to come ! We travel A LOT, and I can honestly say this was the best shower I've ever had ! Seriously. Checking in and out was seamless, and although I had my reservations about sleeping in a first floor room above a busy pub, it was pleasantly quiet. Thank you White Hart for a very pleasant and enjoyable stay

Ordered £90 worth of food! All came uncooked, pizza was chewy and missing. Three ingredients, MOULDY banoffe cheesecake! Mac and cheese tasted off and now has given our friend a bad stomach! AND EVEN A HAIR!!!!!!! In the pulled pork Was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE deffo don't recommend!!!

We stayed whilst visiting friends and was pleasantly surprised, The accommodation was very good. The building is old and floorboards can squeak etc and the manager made a point of advising us on our arrival, Obviously your above the pub so again told it could be noisey, But to be fair it was quite peaceful. We found the staff to be friendly, I had breakfast which was very good and we had food on one evening was fine. Most Weatherspoon's I have been in always seem to be understaffed, but we had no problems with service or staff. It suited our needs, we enjoyed Okehampton and will definitely go back again this year.

This is by far the nicest Wetherspoons we have stayed in to date. The room was well furnished and the bed comfortable. The bathroom looked new and was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. The pub part of the building was nice with lots of different areas and the staff were friendly and helpful. BUT there were hardly any staff. We could not use the app and people were queueing at the bar to place orders and collect drinks. The app did not say place your order at the bar until you had reached the end of the process on the app. There were signs saying no chips available with food the whole weekend, and they would be replaced with onion rings(?) On this day, we had already eaten elsewhere at lunch time, so I ordered a pudding and my husband soup and a roll, we were given 1 fork and 1 spoon in 1 serviette and no bread roll with the soup. We did not complain as we could see there were problems and did not want to add to them. However, it was a disappointing experience.

Clean, friendly, comfortable, warm, with a modern feel in such an old building. I stayed for 3 nights and everything I experienced was first class. All the staff were courteous and helpful, from the manager to the cleaning staff. I felt valued as a guest. This hotel was part of the Weatherspoon's chain so the food and drink were very reasonably priced and the service was quick!!

I had an amazing stay at *The White Hart Inn*! The room I stayed in was incredibly spacious and beautifully maintained—such a comfortable and relaxing space. The room attendants went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant staff were equally fantastic, making both breakfast and dinner a lovely experience. A special mention to Shelly, who went above and beyond with her warm and attentive service. Overall, a fantastic stay with exceptional service. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

I came to Okehampton for the first time to attend a Business Training Course. I stayed at the White Hart Hotel. The staff were warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them, making our group feel at home. We ate in the restaurant, good honest food at reasonable prices. When the venue for the course was no longer available to us, they stepped in to help us so we could carry on with our course. We were so grateful as we had come from all over the country traveling 6 -10 hours to arrive at Okehampton..

Frequented this whetherspoons regularly over the last week whilst in the area , and have to say other than Sunday morning after storm darragh when they were stupidly busy the food ,service and facilities was absolutely spot on , and good value. Will certainly eat there again when in the area in future.

Shocking service in the bar. All the tables covered in dirty plates. Bar could do with a good clean and clearly need a lot more staff. . Maybe less attention to putting up Halloween decorations and more on tidying up and serving customers , however only place it seems to get a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning in Oakhampton
