It can be reached within about a 10-minute walk from Oita Station. The room is spacious and there is a bathhouse where you can take a bath. The staff at the counter were friendly and allowed me to store my luggage in advance before traveling, which saved me a lot of problems. If you want to go to Yufuin, you don’t mind taking the train. It’s really convenient from here and you don’t have to fight for seats.

This JR hotel is one of the most unique of all as it has a rooftop onsen (19-21F). It comes with a 150yen per pax per night charge when you stay here. 21F is gender separated outdoor onsen! Was a surprise as we did not expect it to be so nice with the current weather. Parking is 1000yen per night with the car park at the mall side and is linked to the hotel reception by an elevator. Location is superb for non-driving too as it is within 1 min walk from the JR Oita station. We used the onsen for all the nights we stayed. Super good value.

Very satisfactory location and facilities for the price. If you can handle a little surrounding sound (not noise), if you only have to sleep, you will feel that it is the best choice, overall well maintained and tidy, and you can see the staff managing cleanliness from time to time. Was there. Drinks are also provided free of charge. Very satisfied.

Very good 4-star hotel, the breakfast in the restaurant on the 1st floor offers a variety of local Oita cuisine, and dinner on the 14th floor has Camellia Teppanyaki and Fukino Japanese cuisine to choose from. I tried both cuisines in two nights. Very satisfied, thank you for the hospitality 🙏

This hotel has an excellent location and has its own parking lot. It is very convenient whether you drive or take the railway.
Staff are very friendly and willing to help. When I left, I found that the rental car failed to start in the parking lot. The hotel staff actively assisted me. I am really grateful!
If I come to Oita again in the future, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I would like to express my sincere thanks again to the many employees who have received and assisted me, especially a man who can speak fluent English. Thank you very much.

GGuest UserThe hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Oita JR Station. There is a commercial street along the way to Oita Station, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. There is a vending machine, ice machine and microwave on each floor of the hotel, which is very convenient! There are also many hot spring shops next to the hotel.

GGuest UserAt 8:00 pm, there is no waiter at the front desk, you have to wait for a round, and check out. The open-air hot spring is just a big bathtub, and the hot spring water is not too hot and a bit cold. The place is big enough, relatively old feeling, near the factory area, so there is no recommendation at night.

돈키호테를 비롯한 주요 편의시설이 근거리에 위치해있음.
캡슐룸의 경우 별도의 문이 달려있어 어느 정도의 프라이버시는 보장됨. 하지만 밀폐된 목조 캡슐 형태라 여름에는 잠옷이 다 젖을 정도로 더우며 방음에 취약함.
층마다 보안카드를 찍고 들어가야하며 개인 짐을 보관할 수 있는 라커와 흡연실, 자판기, 화장실, 세면대 등이 있음.
샤워는 3층에 위치한 대욕장을 이용해야하는데 수건, 칫솔, 면도기가 잘 구비되어있으며 비교적 청결하게 관리되고 있음.

SSwee KuanHotel is new and clean. Only thing is parking lot not available and full when I checked in and it’s not cheap. I have to parked a few blocks down. Also there is no drop off point which makes it very inconvenient to unload luggage’s.

MMiyu BirdieOpinions from a female asian solo traveler. Around 10 mins walk from Oita station, acceptable distance to me. Have convenient stores in the area but not many restaurants, better go back to Oita station or Amu plaza oita for food. The front desk is very helpful. The hotel is a bit small and old but very clean and quiet. Particularly appreciate their shower water is hot enough. I stayed on the 4th floor and could hear street sounds occasionally but acceptable. Overall, affordable prices and needs are fulfilled.
