Sandals Royal Plantation All Inclusive - Couples Only

This is our second time visiting SRP, and it won't be the last. It is truly a little slice of heaven. Apart from the beautiful setting (the beach is smaller but perfect for the size of the resort and ALWAYS clean!), the staff really sets this resort apart from others. The butlers are amazing. Omar, the General Manager, walks through the resort during the day and greets guests by name as he sees them, servers remember drinks you liked and are always attentive. When they say, welcome home, they mean it. It feels like home, and they make it that way. Having to leave was my only complaint. The resort itself is beautiful in a very traditional and charming way. They have been making some updates to rooms, but we appreciated seeing the dark woodwork and charm in tact. The "vibe" is one of relaxation and comfort. Conveniently for those who like relaxation mixed with more of a party setting, Ochi is just next door, and the shuttle to take you there and back runs often. As far as food, they have enough options on site at SRP, but certainly the availability of the options at Ochi help change things up if you want, but it certainly isn't needed. I can't say enough wonderful things about SRP and the team that makes it so special. Can't wait to go back!

This was our first Sandals experience. We chose RP because of the size of the resort and the fact it was low key. We loved the fact that it is all butler. Our butler team, Marvin and BeBeato were amazing. They attended to every detail, and went above and beyond what is required. We had an added treat because the staff has a soccer tournament each year and departments play each other. Who knew our BeBeato was a star player! RP has a new GM, Omar and he is the king of detail. He remembers your name from minute one, is all over the resort and is genuine in his desire to make your stay great. We took time to go to Ochi to eat twice and both were good. This resort is not new and could use a serious update in the rooms, but don’t let that discourage you. Everything is very clean and the staff is just awesome. We booked a Grand Duchess suite and enjoyed the large balcony. We were surprised how many repeat customers there were there. Many come every year and know all the staff. They are like family and I can see why!

Trip #4 to SRP did NOT disappoint. It is so wonderful to be able to return to a place that truly feels like a home away from home. This was our longest stay to date. We were there for 11 night. Our butlers Sherrill and Gladstone were awesome. They catered to every want and suggested foods we didn’t even know we needed! They made sure our wine was chilled to the perfect temperature every night and even had a topper added to our bed when hubby’s back was giving him trouble. Additionally, they are just wonderful people and lovely to chat with! Daniello continues to make every beach day completely relaxing and refreshing! Unfortunately, Trevardo was on vacation for most of our stay, but we were able to see him for a couple of days. He and Daniello are such a great team and make sure the beach has that special exact mix of relaxation and fun. Junior, Delano, Romaine and JLee took great care of us at the Wobbley Peacock. Of course I would be remiss not to mention sweet Stace! She is so lovely and gracious and was always ready to serve our drinks just like we like them! Nicoletta at The Terrace is a joy! She is so welcoming and she and Sheena make great dance partners. Denar is a great server at the Terrace but additionally made all the evenings fun at the Terrace with his singing and dancing! Easton and Hushein were so personable and made sure everything was top notch at the Terrace and The Grill. We enjoyed 4 wonderful meals at Papillion. Sheena, Joseph and Shevon took great care of us. I highly recommend making sure you schedule at least one Papillion visit when Orion is playing piano; the piano music compliments the fabulous food perfectly! Corey was delightful every morning in delivering our room service coffee and danish; always a beautiful smile and a welcoming spirit to start off our day. The food is fabulous. Chef Martin is incredible and Lancelot does a tremendous job overseeing all the entire food and beverage operation. Nataki (at 8 months pregnant and still as delightful and talented as ever) kept the entertainment rolling. The water sports team of Wade, Lloyd, and Tivawne were incredible. They took us on many delightful sails. I highly recommend the early morning snorkel excursion. Wade and captain Fabian treated us to a completely fabulous water adventure. Marlyn kept our room spotless and perfect and was always so warm and friendly. Jessica with Loyalty is fantastic. She took us to see various rooms to make sure our upcoming 5th and 6th visits are just as awesome as the first four! Now for the new GM. Omar was standing at the front to greet us when we arrived. From that first moment to the last, we saw him multiple times a day and he greeted us (and every guest) by name. We saw him act as host and seat guests at The Terrace for breakfast, we saw him bus a table in the evening, and we saw him name 20 couples by name (without notes) at the returning guest dinner. Every evening Omar makes the rounds to all three restaurants and speaks

This was a last minute Babymoon trip for us. It was absolutely relaxing, beautiful, and romantic trip for the two of us. We had a wonderful time with our butlers Andre and Jehovan. They were extremely attentive, supportive, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The housekeeper Monesha did an excellent job with our room. It was immaculate every morning and evening. I booked a Mother2be massage with Kayan and she was AMAZING! It truly was the best massage I have ever had! The drinks were killer everyday. Jlee and Deli knew our names and drink orders by night 2. The food at the French restaurant was by far our favorite meal of the week. Our server Sevon recommended the Sole-filet and the cordon blu. Both were exceptional and the desserts were to die for. Lastly, the GM Omar was fantastic! He is a true leader and sets an example for all of the staff. He knew our name the same day and we saw him everywhere. He was the host, custodian, and busser. There was no job too big or too small for him. All in all this was a fantastic trip. Only complaint is we were there long enough. We hope to be back soon!

Sandals Royal Plantation (Ocho Rios) Royal is an apt name for this resort as you will be treated as if you are royalty! Omar (general manager) always knows who everyone is and takes the time to talk to everyone ensuring that all is well and asking whether there is anything you need. Chevin serving in Papillon (French) restaurant was excellent and the food selection on the menu was varied and everything we had was delicious and well prepared. The other restaurants (Terrace and the Grill on the beach) both offered a different dining vibe but again the food was excellent. Then there is the Wobbly Peacock which has the aim of being an English Pub - complete with Scotch Eggs on the menus. Sherril & Gladstone were our butlers and both were great. Alex and Nataki Entertainment team were both very good singers. However, every member of staff we encountered were very polite and cannot do enough for you. I love the quietness and relaxed ambience of this resort. It genuinely feels like you are staying as a guest in a large house. During our stay there was never any issue getting beds around the pool or at the beach. The rooms are spacious and most have a French style balcony overlooking the ocean. We took a hobbie cat out with a 'captain' (sorry I cannot remember his name) and he was great at pointing out the buildings on the coast and providing their colourful history. Plus, an added bonus was seeing a pod of dolphins (3 or 4) Danello round the pool and beach was a constant source of drinks! Seems to have a telepathic idea of what drink you want before you decide! Afternoon tea in the terrace restaurant, superb! Must do for the English! Cucumber, egg and also tuna sandwiches plus cakes and scones and a choice of tea complete with a timer! Breakfast is a relaxed affair with menu or buffet assortment. All staff, again really pleasant and can only remember a couple of our servers names so thanks Daphne and especially Jamey (who was due to be off on Independence Day but was asked to work and all credit to him, he did! Whilst I have no idea who the chefs are they deserve a mention as the food is phenomenal in the evenings especially the French restaurant. Would definitely like to return one day to this resort which also allows you to use the facilities at the much larger Ochi resort and the odd trip to Sandals Dunns. Thankyou Royal Plantation!

Sandals Royal Planation is nothing short of perfection. The staff’s unique ability to make every guest feel welcome & at home is amazing to observe & experience! Cleanliness, & attention to even the smallest detail does not go unnoticed. We were here when Hurricane Beryl came barreling in, and we can’t say enough about how their wonderful GM, Omar Robinson & his entire staff kept all guests calm, & informed from first warning until it finally arrived, and passed. If you’re looking for a break from the chaos of daily life, and wish to be pampered & well taken care of - this resort is the one for you. Relaxation is key here, and their staff provides it like no other resort I have personally been to.

If you’re looking for a place to truly relax in a quiet, picturesque atmosphere with AMAZING service, then Sandals Royal Plantation is for you! This was our third trip back “home” to Royal Plantation where we celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary. What made us choose Royal Plantation and keeps us coming back? The exceptional service (Johovan and Andre are the BEST Butlers and a shout out to Danielo, the BEST beach server, Rowena most wonderful massage therapist, and so many more “family members”). The new(ish) GM, Omar, is so very pleasant and leads by example.

We stayed at Sandals Royal Plantation last week for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. It is a smaller more intimate 74 room all-inclusive resort where all guests have butler service. The resort is very well maintained and has a relaxed atmosphere. We have stayed at every Sandals and Beaches property except for 3, and would certainly recommend this property. This specific Sandals is an older property with colonial charm, and Omar (the GM) & Marvin (Director of Guest Services) do an excellent job capturing the original vision of Butch Stewart. For dining options there is a French restaurant, a terrace grill, a beach grill, and a British pub in addition to room service. You also have access to the restaurants at Sandals Ochi and Sandals Dunn’s River. Shout out to Chevon (spelling) the server in the French restaurant who has great charisma and loves his job. There are two beach areas with beach service, and a smaller sized pool in the middle of the property. If a larger pool is your preference, you have the ability to go over to Sandals Ochi via shuttle bus and use their facilities for the day. The beach areas at Royal Plantation are well maintained with soft sand and did not notice any seaweed. We did schedule a spa treatment at Red Lane spa which was outstanding. There was some entertainment at night for guests, and the pub is open until later. The shuttle buses between resorts run until about midnight if you wanted to spend an evening at one of them (check out the speakeasy at Ochi). Overall we really enjoyed this resort and it was a perfect way to unwind & start off our vacation. We will definitely be back in the future and look forward to another great experience at Sandals Royal Plantation.

This place is awesome. Truly makes you feel like your with family. This is the second trip there and it was better the second time around. Although the first trip was awfully hard to beat, they succeeded! We were blown away by the feeling. I have to mention people by name as they were the best! Bebeato and Marvin, our butlers. Angelic, Tresel, Stace, Junior, Tianna, Vanya, Waikeda, Brandon, Ramon,(both of them), Delano, Stephnie, Simeon, Omar, Simone. If I butchered some names with spelling, I truly apologize. If you want a quiet resort where you feel like family and I mean good, close family, look no further. There is not one bad thing I have to say about this resort. And yes, we already booked for 2025! One more thing, our best friends went there with us on our recommendation. On day two, they both said that it was everything we said and then some! And yes, they booked for 2025 as well!
