Troutbeck Resort

The place is really beautiful. Clean rooms, good food and friendly staff. Enjoyed my stay there.

酒店依山傍水，環境一流；尤其是熱天來此，感覺十分清涼；早晨白霧繚繞，恍如仙景。但酒店的餐飲服務一般，點餐常需等較長時間。

酒店環境不錯，就是房間地毯返潮，有一些味道，希望能處理改進一下，早餐也挺豐富的，午餐和晚餐種類可以點的品種有些單子，太少了，希望再多增加一些海鮮意麪披薩之類的

We visited the Resort during the Easter period for a relaxing and refreshing 3 day experience.We had a late check in and the staff were not very helpful or friendly.However the interior decor of the place gave a warm welcome(additional easter decorations would have made it warmer).The room was clean and the beds have electric blankets to curb the chilly Nyanga weather. The lake view from the room was very spectacular and rich..We got to experience the mountainous views of Nyanga from the verandah in the morning whilst enjoying some coffee(the room had a coffee station,an added bonus). We enjoyed the wide variety offered at breakfast,a great boast to start the day..The Easter Bunny Mascot was some great fun for those who had visited with children.The dinner menu was not as wide however the mutton stew was exceptional. The resort offers a number of activities which unfortunately we didnt get time to experience as we had different excursions to do around Nyanga.However one can always visit their curio shop to purchase Troutbeck sourvenirs. We had an early check out hence we ordered a take away breakfast,which unfortunately was not prepared and we ended up getting a very badly packed below par breakfast which was rather disappointing. Special mention to Gathel,Leornard,Judah,Lee-Ann and Alec...these individuals were kind and gracious at all times.Most of the staff are quite rude as they do not greet or attend to guests and one has to find their way.This is something that could definately improve and make the plaxce better. I would most likely visit again....

The scenery is great and relaxing. The in-room tea making facilities and bar fridge in the room were a very welcome addition. The rooms were neat and clean. Carpets well cleaned. Great experience in the restaurant as well - good service from courteous staff. The variety of the food on buffet is a great plus. The heated under blanket capped our great experience.

The location of the resort is very convinient, beautiful view and scenary. Not much variety for breaskfast. Ideal for families travelling with kids, there is a beautiful outdoor play area.
