The staff here is 5 star plus! We arrived after the restaurant closed and without us asking, they called the cook to come back and make us dinner and it was great! Also, my husband left his favorite t-shirt and they were kind enough to send it to our next hotel in Colombo! They are the nicest people and obviously willing to go above and beyond for their guests! We can’t thank you enough! Hotel is clean and amazing location close to Adam’s Peak. Definitely recommend!

This is the perfect place to stay to hike Adam’s Peak AND explore Nallathanniya. Do yourself a favor and book at LEAST two nights. We rearranged our plans to stay a second night after hiking Adam’s Peak and one of the owners took us on the most epic and beautiful tour of the tea plantations and waterfalls in the area. A highlight of our trip and views that rival the train ride to Ella. You can see their reviews for tours by searching Hugging Clouds Tours. Food was excellent, especially the Lumprais. Breakfast stellar. Staff amazing. They went above and beyond to help us with a train ticket issue as well. Amazing customer service. We were sad to leave, but look forward to coming back.

we paid $20 USD per room for two rooms. we checked in around 2 pm. we had a wake up call for 2 am to clip Adams peak. we ate at the hotel restaurant, meal was simple and good, we had a couple of beers as well. the hotel is close to the start of Adams peak. we pre walked to the start in the late afternoon to scout our route in the daylight. we started Adams peak at 2:30 am and returned to the hotel about 6 hours later. the hotel rate included breakfast. breakfast was great, fruit, toast, eggs, and pancakes. coffee was weak but its a tea country! we found the journey up Adams Peak was weird as there is constant music and sales people from stands the whole way up. some of the male vendors were a little creepy aggressive toward my 15 year old daughter and y wife. they said it felt like visiting Morocco as the men smoke and gawk at women. this was one of the few hotels that lived up to the reviews and the price was amazing. simple rooms, no air conditioning but cool enough for us. no actual wifi which was same at almost all hotels in Sri Lanka.

we stayed here one night. the owner is very friendly and lovely. we got a very good and delicious dinner cooked. The service was very good. the next morning we wanted to climb adamspeak. she explained everything to us the night before and organized a guide for us. he spoke very good english and it was a great experience with him. he also drove us to the train station in hotton. on the way he explained everything to us and that was the most beautiful ride!!! thanks for the help with the climb and the ride. the rooms were very clean and very nice. the stay was perfect . This is a great base for anyone doing the Adams peak hike . The hotel is clean , staff friendly and food to a good standard . I would recommend to spend a couple of nights rather than making it a rushed stay . The hotel also arranged pick up and drop off to Hatton station for us .

· Location is the best if you‘d like to hike Adam‘s Peak. it‘s just 5 minutes away (on foot) from the starting point of Adam‘s Peak. no tuk-tuk needed Breakfast is great and very delicious. Rooms are comfortable&clean and have balcony with great view. Staffs are very nice and ready to help with great smile. Madu, the general manager, loves what he does and has great idea for the property. He‘s been building a beautiful roof top having great view. you may enjoy the view from roof top. He also organized a beautiful tour around Tea Plantation area and Waterfalls. it was a great tour. We also had dinner and ate Lump Rice. Lump rice was so delicious, like homemade. definitely recommended. thanks for everything Madu, definitely we‘ll come back again.
