Very comfortable bed and pillows had the best nights sleep

Really clean and comfortable. Right in the centre of the town and only 10 minutes from the train station. Rooms are fresh with a decent shower. Not a huge choice of food on the menu and not much choice at breakfast but what was there was decent.I’d stay again

My mother stayed here new years eve. She was laid in bed in her PJs when, to her, a random man walked in. She was unaware of any maintenance the room needed, and wasn't told there would be maintenance workers entering the room while she was in there. So to her this was a completely random man violating her privacy. Of course, when she complained, she was reassured "it's just a maintenance worker" and promptly offered her free alcohol to solve the issue. My mother suffers with an anxiety disorder, she was incredibly unsettled and paranoid the entire night. And now after we've requested a refund, they're ignoring our attempts at contact. Don't stay here, they do not respect their guests whatsoever. They couldn't even offer my mom the decency of a refund after traumatising her in a space she thought was private.

Brilliant hotel and all the staff were lovely. At breakfast I met Sameer who made time to have a chat. He was lovely and polite. It’s great when staff interact with you as they are always busy but give you the time of day. I will be back soon so thanks again 👍

I recently stayed at this hotel for my wedding. While the stay itself was not terrible, there were certain aspects that left much to be desired. Accommodation: The pillows were uncomfortable and did not provide a good night's sleep. Service: Breakfast Experience: I went down for breakfast on Friday around 9:40 AM. The hot breakfast items were nearly empty. Despite asking the staff to refill them, they never did, and everything was cleared promptly at 10:00 AM. I had requested eggs well before breakfast ended, but they were never served. The server at the time, a young African lady, seemed unresponsive to our requests. Front Desk Service: There was an issue with the night receptionist, an Asian male, who lacked basic customer service skills. For instance: A day receptionist had assured me that the hotel could arrange towel swans and petals for my wedding, even confirming that she would forward the request to the next shift. However, the night receptionist dismissed my request, claiming the hotel did not provide such a service and even suggested I go out and buy flowers myself. Fortunately, when the earlier receptionist, Abby (If i am not wrong), returned, she confirmed that this service is indeed provided and took care of the arrangement. Abby’s professionalism and helpful attitude stood out and truly enhanced our experience. Conclusion: The stay had its ups and downs. While there were some glaring service issues, Abby’s excellent service deserves commendation. Training in customer service for some staff members, especially those at the front desk, could significantly improve guest experiences.
