Ganischgerhof Mountain Resort & Spa

Stayed in Ganischerhof with my fiancee last month. Excellent stay, the service is very good, a lot of choice for breakfast and very well prepared by the chef, and of course amazing views! Well worth it! If we ever are in the neighborhood again we will definitely be returning here.

6 out of 5, of that were possible: the owners and all the staff made us feel as “at home”, but pampered and treated as super-guests. It was us and them, we were not “just customers”. Location and hotel are super nice: all is well organized and top quality. From the ski-room and shuttle service to reach the ski slopes, from the multiple sauna with the amazing mountain view and the wellness, from the modern gym to the broad swimming pool, all is clean and perfect. We can’t forget to highlight the excellent food, both at the hotel and at multiple “Hütte” and “Alm” bars and restaurants on the slopes. Thanks family Pichler and all their marvellous staff! Had a very great time. Rooms are oversized, well equiped and in traditional style. Food is someting that needs to be mentioned: TAKE GANISH FOOD PLUS SYSTEM!! As you will have best gourmet time of your life, especially chalets on the slopes.

We heard about Ganischgerhof from friends, who heard about it from friends ... it's that sort of place. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt welcome, comfortable and warm. We had a spacious room on the first floor, which gave us a beautiful view of the mountains. We opted for the Ganis ¾ Board Plus+ tariff, which I would recommend, as it meant that we could eat in the hotel and in their sister restaurants in the Latemar skiing area. The food in the hotel and all the restaurants was very, very good (and hearty), the service is friendly and efficient and the mountain restaurants have outstanding views. The hotel can arrange your ski pass and offers a very efficient shuttle service to the ski-ing area and they provide a heated boot room where boots, skis, etc can be kept. During the week that we were there they offered one early morning and one late night ski experience. Although we didn't take part in either, some of our friends who went for the early morning run said it was the best part of the week. Another nice touch: the hotel gives you a week's bus pass for the local buses. If you fancy a day off from skiing you can hop on the bus to Bozen / Bolzano - the bus stop is at the bottom of the hotel drive. After a day on the slopes, having access to the Spa is very pleasant and refreshing. Both the pool and indoor sauna are a good size, with steam rooms and a smaller outside sauna also available. We had a lovely week and are already planning our next visit. We felt the hotel offered excellent value for money.

Che dire...che sicuramente la pubblicità ingannevole non va bene! E sicuramente non è un 4 stelle per innumerevoli motivi! Premetto che siamo sempre stati in family hotel e che sapevamo benissimo che questo non lo è, ma la cosa che più ci ha disturbato è stato il non sapere che la piscina è ad uso esclusivo adulti dalle 18 in poi. Ora al di là del fatto che ognuno a casa propria mette le regole che vuole, anche io ho diritto di decidere come spendere i miei soldi e se avessi saputo questa regola ( come altre ben descritte) non avrei certo prenotato qui in quanto a marzo finisci di sciare alle 17 e da li che arrivi in piscina sono le 17,30 ...se avessi saputo che con il bambino non posso stare in piscina non sarei mai venuta qui , soprattutto perché non avendo un baby club o stanza per bambini sono costretta io stessa a stare in camera ( dove lo metto il bimbo???) di conseguenza non posso nemmeno usare la spa, senza considerare che è ben presente un' area adult only e che alle 18 la piscina rimaneva completamente vuota!...è forse una scusa per fare andare presto a cena? I camerieri erano sempre scocciati quando arrivavi a cena alle 20...Mettete allora gli orari diversi, si può cenare o no fino alle 21???? Inoltre tutto era incentrato sull' apparenza e scarsa qualità...il buffet della cena alle 19 era già finito e se richiesto si scusavano ma niente. Per non parlare del gusto del cibo , veramente pessimo, il tagliere di formaggi che è un' alternativa al menù del giorno viene presentato con tante mandorle e frutta secca( quella della spa) ma i formaggi sono secchi e ammuffiti , tagliati da giorni! Per non parlare della spa ,tipica anni 90 con unica sauna funzionante, il resto tanto spazio inutile, nella sala superiore l acqua per la tisana mai presente ! Il personale gentile ma a qualsiasi richiesta o lamentela rispondevano con frasi fatte e mai risolutive! La camera assolutamente non da 4 stelle, il bagno minuscolo con phon da parete ridicolo ( ho chiesto un phon normale che ti danno solo dietro cauzione). La colazione veramente scarsa, potevi ordinare omelette e taglieri ma quasi niente dal buffet, 2 brioches finte e minuscoli vasetti di marmellata a volte anche acida. Unica nota veramente positiva è la possibilità di pranzare nelle 2 baite di proprietà. Qui il cibo è senza limiti,puoi ordinare tutto quello che vuoi e veramente gustoso, che non si capisce come sia possibile visto il ristorante dell' hotel, e soprattutto considerando che poi ti fanno pagare 5 euro una bottiglia di acqua come quella che trovi in camera dalla fontana! Ma anche qui... dovevamo prenotare il tavolo sulle baite e mai nessuno ce lo aveva detto! Consiglio di rivedere la comunicazione sia nella descrizione dei servizi offerti on line sia al check in! Io non ci ritornerò e non lo consiglierò . Sicuramente è un hotel da tedeschi, che prediligono abbondanti pranzi , infatti c erano tantissime famiglie con ragazzi adolescenti.
