Travelodge Norwich Central Hotel

Very good location lovely staff . Got a late check out which was ideal and the staff Nalene, Angel and Ben looked after me . Will definitely stay again

Certain staff unwilling to help, stating not their job and too busy. Conflicting policy about dogs. You can't access meals you pay for as you are not allowed to leave them in your room unattended and also dogs are (quite rightly) not allowed in the cafe. Left feeling very unsafe.

Nice friends welcome from the staff. Helped me as disabled and couldn't do enough. Room lovely and clean, crisp white bedding. Ample tea coffee provided. Large room plenty if room to maneuver. Highly recommend for the price. Plenty of choice for breakfast was well cooked and hot.

I stay here regularly and though it's only 2* and quite basic, it is always clean and comfortable. The only criticism I have this time is that the tap supports behind the accessible shower were coated with limescale. It looked awful but a spray of Viakal would have corrected it! The receptionist, Nalene, was friendly and helpful. She was training a young man, Cameron, who she had obviously tutored proficiently. He was polite and friendly too. I am looking forward to my next stay.

Location is good, we did booked parking at Sainsburys over the road which was very convenient (the App is Your Parking Space). We had a room at the front and there is noise from the road (which is busy) but we slept well despite that. Staff are friendly and helpful. As a budget hotel it’s clean and has everything you need. Note: no hairdryer in room but you can borrow one from reception. Norwich is such a busy city that you’re not spending time in your room so a budget hotel is perfect for us.

I had reservations about staying in a Travelodge. The first night confirmed my worst fears as one or two of the “guests” manners left a lot to be desired. I stayed 4 nights. The room was clean and spacious. The first floor bar eating area was serviceable. The food in fairness was pretty good if basic so no complaints. The staff made my stay and especially Cameron and Irene who were absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for them. Irene was amazing on Tuesday evening she not only worked the bar but cooked and served to food and cleared the tables. Fantastic friendly professional credit to Travelodge she really was. Cameron was also brilliant and hardworking
