Premier Inn Northwich South

Rooms are standard as you'd expect breakfast on the other hand had been sat in a bain Marie all morning we weren't the earliest risers but 9.30 isn't too late soggy hash browns. Dried up beans and bacon sausage were nide but would've been better hot!

First impressions were it looked closed down. However, once in reception the staff were very welcoming, and professional. The corridor looked tired and in need of a makeover. The walls were battered and shabby. We entered our room 110 and did a quick inspection as you do. Firstly, I thought where is the iconic purple throw and cushion? The bed looked only partly made and not like the photos advertised. There was a lot of dust on the dressing table and around the lamp base. You could actually write your name in it. There was a stain in the bottom of the toilet, but everything else looked clean. We went out for the evening and upon our return there was a very strong substance smell through the corridors towards our room. This was quite off putting. I’d suggest moving the ashtray away from the entrance to avoid lingering smells. When we left in the morning, it smelt the same. The shower was amazing. Breakfast was waiter service and good quality. The staff were equally great! Overall, we had a good stay, but we would not return, due to the cleanliness and unwanted smell.

Stay here every week for 2 nights while I travel from Yorkshire to work in the area . In my 4th month now and had the pleasure of being treated very well by the guys at Northwich South. All the staff are welcoming but I would like to give a mention to Lisa and Ian. Always make me feel welcome. Not only do they look after me professionally but have become friends and that's what has made me come back time after time. Thank you all at Northwich South. Dan
