We booked a wheelchair accessible room, which we were not initially allocated, however that was quickly fixed. Sadly the hygiene facilities in the wheelchair accessible room were not accessible, with rather unfortunate consequences. The food in the restaurant was plentiful and I would call it good pub food. There was no real ale sadly, although we had been expecting it. Altogether OK, but not the experience I was hoping to get for my husband, with his first outing away from home post-stroke. Basically, wheelchair accessible accommodation should be just that, and include toilet and shower so that wheelchair bound customers can have the basic facilities needed for their comfort and hygiene needs.
