Summer Nites

May 23, 2025 We returned from our second stay at Summer Nites in Wildwood NJ. Shelia and Rick have a wonderful Bed and Breakfast and from the moment you walk in you are welcomed with a very warm cheerful greeting. Shelia and Rick are the most pleasant, friendliest people and they go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. All the rooms have a different theme from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s. There is an Elvis Room that is all decorated in black and gold, a 70’s room with a real working disco ball above the jacuzzi tub. Our favorite and the room we stayed in both times is “Life is a Beach”. The bed is very comfortable. Loved that there was a small refrigerator in the room, the only suggestion would be to have 2 chairs for sitting on in the evening. We had a chair in our car from when we went to our granddaughter’s softball games and that worked out great. Shelia and Rick thought of everything that will truly bring you back to reliving the past eras. Breakfast and afternoon refreshments are served in a room that resembles a 50’s style diner and each booth has an authentic jukebox loaded with 50’s, 60’s and 70’s style music. Shelia & Rick supply the quarters so you can select your favorite songs to listen to while enjoying breakfast and later in the afternoon while enjoying your refreshments. There is even a working Coke machine to grab yourself a bottle of coke anytime, with dimes that are supplied on top of the machine in a Coke tin. There are 4 rooms on the first floor with a private entrances: Life’s a Beach, 70’s Disco, Elvis, 60’s Suite (this room is ADA accessible). In the common area, there is a Keurig coffee machine so you can get a cup of coffee or hot tea anytime. There is also a full-size pool table on the main floor, and a few neat vintage pinball games await on the lower level that all you have to do is turn them on to play. I highly recommend staying here, as the entire place is immaculately clean with private parking. There are even bikes you can take out. A favorite thing for us was sitting on the front porch with coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening on the wicker rockers with a nice breeze. We are already planning our return visit for next June 2026. Shelia & Rick, along with all their staff, is kind and caring. Thank you all very much for a lovely stay. See you on our next stay. Dear Shelia and Rick   Thanks for a terrific stay over the July 4th weekend.   The inn is as described on the website – but better. Rooms are uniquely themed with the exact right touch of furnishings and memorabilia. My husband and I enjoyed the Hot tub, the bikes, the vintage black and white console TV in the lobby and those gorgeous mid-century lamps.  Bed was super comfy, the breakfasts and afternoon treats were wonderful. Super close to the beach.   You and your staff were most friendly and helpful. We will most certainly recommend you to anyone who is going your way, and you will see us again.     We thank you for your hospitality - you made us feel very much at home…

The Summer Nites B+B is a wonderful choice to stay when visiting North Wildwood, New Jersey! The rooms are large and spacious with all the amenities you would need when traveling. The building has pretty curb appeal and an interesting history. It is centrally located within walking distance to the famous boardwalk. It has a beautiful and comfortable wrap around porch in which to sit and relax. There is a couple of hot tubs and a fire pit on the premises. The owners, Rick and Sheila are the kindest, most pleasant people you could meet! They will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable, memorable, and enjoyable as possible! The rooms are decorated in all kinds of retro vibes, from Elvis to different eras of music, so you can relive the fun times of years gone by. Be sure not to miss the late afternoon refreshments! You will not leave hungry! The breakfast was super huge, hot, and delicious! Could not have been better! The hosts will go the extra mile with special touches like celebrating holidays and giving you a memento of your stay. Keurig coffee is available in the common area, as well as a full-size pool table! Vintage pinball games await on the lower level. There are jukeboxes so you can spin some good music in the “diner” breakfast area. We wish we had more time here but hope to visit again! The bed was comfy, and the shower was great! Good pressure, temperature, and drainage, which is important to us travelers! Once you stay even just for one day, you will feel like you’ve made a friend for life- that is you, Sheila! Thank you so much for making a quick, spontaneous weekend at the beach a memorable one! We smiled, laughed, talked and made the BEST memories!!!
