Good location looking over the ocean Bed was comfortable Balcony was very small

Every room face water, beautiful room, very relaxing. Smart service for late checkin people, helpful service.

I loved my stay 😊 it was so pretty and clean. The lady at the front was really polite and help full. Great place to stay every things so close and a beautiful view.

地點正正在沙灘the strand 黃昏日落非常之靚，去咖啡店去超級市場也很方便步行10幾分鐘就到。買齊日用所需到到黃昏坐在露台看日落，賞心悅目。 至於服務方面基本係冇嘅除咗Check In有人之外。唔好諗住好似亞太區啲酒店咁，有五星級服務 價錢方面，以1000頭來說什麼也不包括，真係因為沒有選擇才會選。

Lovely place to stay. Next door to the watermark that does a great breakfast and just down the road from the Sea view that does a great lunch and dinner

Drove 3 hours to stay the night after checking in we went to our room when we opened the door and went in there was a terrible smell. Mould in bathroom and ceiling vents dust everywhere. I went straight back down and spoke to receptionist he said he couldn’t leave the desk but would have someone have a look. After about half hour a housekeeping lady came in and had a look and said the smell was bad and appeared to be coming from the carpet and said the room had not been cleaned properly. So on my return to reception this time I spoke with a lady and she acknowledged the room was not clean and smelt badly Ana said sorry but she couldn’t move us to another room as was fully booked but offered us a refund or we stay in the room. We couldn’t stay in the room from smell so had to drive home for another 3hours. Very disappointed as was our 20th anniversary and had made plans for a great night. Room 206 definitely needs some work very rundown. Have stayed at Aquarius many times in past and have never had a problem. The reception lady is very rude.

I stay at the Aquarius regularly for business. It is just exactly what I want, quiet, convenient, clean and lovely views. Lots of food choices nearby, electric scooters for rent right out front. It is definitely my first and only choice.

Great location right on the strand, had an excellent view from our room. Close to restaurants - recommend the Seaview Hotel for dinner and we went to The Happy Place for breakfast. Easy check in and check out. Would stay here again.

The rooms were nice and spacious, and all the amenities were clean and tidy. Both of our rooms had a lovely view overlooking the ocean and The Strand. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Facility is showing signs of age and rooms need refurb and updating. Especially the kitchens and bathrooms.

Hotel is in a great location with restaurants in easy walking distance. On site parking was appreciated and after hours check in/out was straightforward. The building is old and tired and everything looks like it needs a good scrub. Room was a decent size but walls are very thin - we could audibly hear every word uttered in the room nextdoor. Ocean views are incredible but balcony is not usable due to being so narrow and mostly taken up by aircon unit. A solid 3 star hotel but definitely not the 4 stars advertised.

Kind of old, water damage on ceiling. Good location. After hours checkin was a pain.

The absolute best location in Townsville! The hotel was easy to find, the apartment was very nice, the staff was friendly and very helpful. We absolutely loved this hotel!
