Reinheimen Lodge

I do not recommend this place. We ordered "Glamping tent" and to take the positive first, "the luxury of a hotel stay". Well, the double bed was good to sleep in. But: "From the tent opening you have a view of Breheimen National Park and Heggebottvatnet... Mountain view" Yes, there were some mountains in the background, but directly in front of the tent there was only loose material after filling and weeds down to a busy road between the tent and a water. "Free Wi-Fi" No! Not in the tent. Maybe it was free in the main house, but that's not where we stay when we've rented a glamping tent. The two Glamping tents they have are so close to each other that we clearly heard a man in a neighboring tent snoring loudly! Yes, some people manage to snore very loudly and it's probably something you can experience on a normal campsite, but this was supposed to be a luxury stay . In any case, I expect from "glamorous camping" that one will be able to fall asleep without lying and listening to snoring from a neighboring tent. The road ran about 50 meters in front of/below the tent and was busy all night! "You can use the sauna and showers freely" This was a big reason why I can bear to write this review. When we got up I was a bit frozen and asked for the sauna. Yes they could fire up (turn on an electric sauna heater) and that there was a small fee for use. (Not free, then! Direct error information!) Well, I waited half an hour, then the temperature had risen to 52 degrees (celsius). Not particularly hot, but we had to move on so I sat there until I warmed up. It is a tiny sauna that has room for 1 person lying down in its length. That means 2 people on each step. Several sitting yes, but this says something about how small the sauna was. When I had to pay, it turned out that the small fee was NOK 500 (45 Euro)!!! Accommodation at NOK 1,350,- (120 Euro) then Erik (the manager) clearly thinks that NOK 500,- (45 Euro) to turn on a sauna heater for half an hour is a small fee! I didn't remember then that it said "you can use freely"(badstu og dusjer benytter du fritt)... so :-((

Stayed for a week in the area, and had dinner here twice. Food was amazing. Have also stayed here before in a dome, and eaten here on a few occacions. The staff is so friendly and helpful and do their best to accomodate you. And as mentioned the food is great. Biggest problem is choosing something new on the menu as you just want to keep eating what you already tried. So far I’ve had goat, reindeer lasagna, and the tapas, my husband had the elkburger, and everything was so tasty. The lodge it self is worth a stop just to look at the interior design, and they have several different room options. The lodge is located in Reinheimen national park, and the area has lots of hiking possibillities, and is a well known area for Geocaching.

Glamping le long de la grand route. Parking gratuit. Pas pour PMR. Proche de Lom (shopping center). Pas de TV, pas de Wifi, pas de réseau. Douches, toilettes, sauna, lave-linge dans le bâtiment principal. Prévoir ses produits de soin et douche. La chambre comprend 1 lit et 1 petit salon sans thé et café à disposition. Il n’y a pas de wc dans la chambre. Endroit prisé des motards et pêcheurs. Repas du soir très correct : Tagliatelles truffes poulet épinard et tarte aux pommes. Petit-déjeuner traditionnel servi à table avec œufs et saumon. Bon rapport qualité prix. Les propriétaires parlent espagnol, anglais, norvégien. Les animaux domestiques sont autorisés.

Prachtige arctic dome. Veel ruimte, mooi uitzicht en toch binnen zitten. Douches en wc’s prima en schoon. Ook alle ruimte. Mevrouw aan de Receptie is super vriendelijk. Je kunt eventueel dineren en ontbijten. Ontbijt kan zelfs aan je tent gebracht worden! Bedden kunnen verwarmt worden en er staat een kachel in de tent.

Es un lugar ubicado en un punto que se presta para desconectar, relajarse,respirar, disfrutar de muchos colores,disfrutar del tiempo mientras te maravillan las montañas q descubren fiordos en el orizonte💫, además de ser un lugar mágico se duerme espectacular, la comida es rica y con mucho toque de los productos locales, tiene una bañera a lado del lago que se llena con agua del mismo lago y se calienta con leña q es una pasada meterme en el agua super caliente y después ir al lago 🥶 y al salir tener calor y sentir q hay mucho aire para respirar😋 si me preguntarán en pocas palabras diría q es un lugar q te da experiencias únicas y eso es lo q me gusta cuando salgo de ruta. También está el sauna y la promesa es 2023 saunasnow sauna y pa la 🏔️💃🙏 Gracias

Un lugar mágico con unas camas super cómodas vistas espectaculares un hambiente acogedor y una comida deliciosa además de la experiencia del yacuzzi y el río q son un contraste alusinante😋 nos encantó!!! De camino a geiranger y muchas atracciones culturales
