The cafe bar with breakfast and dinner hours is definitely the highlight of the B&B. Looking at the top of the windmill and blowing the mountain breeze is the best fusion with nature. The sincerity and enthusiasm of the proprietresses and bosses born in the 1980s and 1990s also contribute to the characteristics of the B&B. Located near the top of the mountain, Initial D’s mountain road is a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. Although it is a pet-friendly B&B, people who are afraid of dogs are fully respected here. XXidan123Two days in advance, I added the housekeeper's WeChat and booked the meal and hot spring time.
It is more convenient to drive there. After locating their parking lot, a housekeeper will pick us up to check in at the B&B.
The room is still clean as a whole, with everything it should have. The welcome fruits and flowers are still very warm. There is only a window on the top to watch the starry sky. The glass is a little dirty after a long time, but it doesn't affect it at night.
After that, we walked around. The content of the B&B is still very complete, with a large room for dinner, facilities for children to play, hot springs and swimming pools, and places to read and drink tea.
Walking out of the B&B, the village is peaceful and quiet. Walk around and feel the environment and culture of Maoao Village.
I made an appointment for dinner and hot springs in the evening at the B&B. Because it is a reservation system, it is equivalent to a private soup, which feels good. Half an hour is completely enough. The dinner tastes good, and the chef gives a good review.

During my stay, I was impressed by the attentiveness of the concierge Astin. From helping to organize scattered luggage and wiping the coffee spilled from the box upon arrival, to delivering it to the room and patiently guiding me to connect to WiFi, every detail made me feel at ease. Knowing that I wanted to try local food, he not only recommended authentic restaurants in the surrounding area, but also coordinated with the concierge Peter to make reservations in advance. Peter's professional suggestions were also excellent. Whether it was travel route planning or special dishes, he could quickly give practical solutions. When checking out, Astin also handed over a book with a guide to surrounding specialties. This kind of care is really rare. Thank you for your sincere service, which made this trip worry-free and warm!

GGuest UserThis hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas.
1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes.
2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale
3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days .
4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced .
5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby.
6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use .
7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes .
8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees.
9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion!
10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking .
For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those .
The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

GGuest UserWe had a great time at this hotel. They upgraded our rooms to lake view and provided us an exclusive butler whose name is MaoJiaXin. She is very helpful and attentive to our needs. She makes it easier for us to enjoy our stay at the hotel. In addition, they have a lot of amenities the children can enjoy. We wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely come back again.

All questions were answered, at the reception there are lovely young ladies who speak excellent English. Fresh, tasty buffet breakfast, fragrant coffee. We were very satisfied with our stay at the hotel. We sincerely thank the hotel administration.

EErnst NZThis is an interesting place as it’s old, contemporary style of an area past, dim lights everywhere, traditional wooden panels alongside huge heigh ceilings. It brings back a time of glamour, reminded me of the Titanic in its former glory. Yet the rooms are crammed, I hit my foot twice on the floor bed corner. The staff are friendly and helpful, english is spoken at reception. Would i stay here again? Probably not, as the darkness of the room, ( windows do open slightly) felt depressing.
