I made a reservation on the spot and stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room (with extra bedding) for three people including my child (almost an adult). The extra bedding was normal size and no problem. Even with the extra bed, the room didn't feel cramped. The staff were very attentive and had a calming atmosphere, so I was able to stay comfortably. The view of the Shinano River from the room was great, and I was able to sleep well without being bothered by the surrounding noise. The breakfast the next morning had a wide variety of options and was all delicious! We also had the chance to try different types of rice, so we were able to enjoy a taste unique to Niigata.

The hotel is right next to Niigata Station, with direct access from the third-floor exit, which is very convenient. The hotel is average in size but the bathroom is not cramped, which is a good comment. The room is also relatively new. It's just that the breakfast is really lackluster, there is nothing to eat at all, but the breakfast is not expensive. Will stay again next time.

The location is less than 5 minutes' walk from Niigata Station. It is located in a quiet alley, so it is very quiet. In addition, the breakfast is rich and balanced. We stayed here for 1 night but unfortunately the aircon in my room was spoilt, we informed the hotel staff and instead of fixing they told us to live with it and tried to struck off the matter… seriously even though we stayed only 1 night we shouldn’t be treated like that

First of all, it is quite close to Niigata Station, about 10-15 minutes walk. There are many restaurants or izakayas nearby, and of course there are also convenience stores. The front desk is on the second floor, so whether the elevator goes up or down, it has to stop on the second floor, which is a bit speechless. It was already past 7pm when I went there. When I arrived on the second floor, I found a lot of people gathered, all holding forms, and they seemed to be from Southeast Asia or South Asia. I thought I would have to wait slowly to check in, but later I found out that they seemed to be conducting an interview or something like that. Anyway, there was only one person in front of me checking in. After I finished checking in, they were still sitting and writing, and checking in only requires a signature. The room is not big, just like a normal business hotel in Japan. It doesn’t matter if you only stay for one night anyway. You can store your luggage for free after check-out the next day.

Hotel Nikko Niigata
Take bus No. 17 from Niigata Station for 260 yen to Niigata Nikko Hotel in Tokimi. The guest rooms are from the 22nd to the 29th floor. I lived on the 27th floor with a wide view. There are supermarkets, restaurants, etc. on the second floor of the hotel, and there is an exhibition hall on the fifth floor. , it happened to be an Egyptian art exhibition. Although the hotel room was small, it was clean and refreshing, and the overall feeling was very comfortable. It was only 1.5 kilometers away from Niigata Station, which was a bit far to walk. But despite its flaws, this hotel is still pretty good!

CcarolienNice hotel withe rooms of various sizes. For me it was spacious enough. Bed was comfortable, would have liked one more cushion.
Room was clean an I liked that i could open the window. It was quite hot in the room because the heater was turned on. Even if i turned it off hot air came out.
Room was clean and had everything i needed. You can also get things at the front desk.
Breakfast was buffetstyle and really very good with a lot of choises, both Japanese, local and western.
Location was very convenient near the train station. About max a 5 minutes walk. Near the hotel there are a lot of places to eat or have a drink. At the station is a shopping mall.

The parking lot was a parking space that surrounds the site, but I couldn't park it, so I was guided to a contract parking lot a little far away. There is no particular problem.
The room is also a simple style, but the unit bus is quite narrow. It was a little painful for me who was hard ^^;
Amenity is the minimum required, and there is a vending machine on the 1st and 3rd floors, and a coin laundry on the 3rd floor. There are no alcohols such as beer, so you should buy it in advance.

The hotel on the left hand side in front of Niigata Station is rather old, and there are more new hotels on the right hand side. This hotel is on the left hand side. The room is very old, but the lights in the room are on the side of the bed. Although other facilities are relatively old, the shower equipment is really new and convenient to use. This is the hotel where I stayed for the last night before leaving Niigata. It is also the place to stay after the concert is over and my friends are separated. A space relieved the sadness of farewell.
