We expected what was shown on the hotel website At the last minute we were told we were being moved to another hotel with very substandard rooms because of a “system error” We were eventually told it was because of overbooking but when we asked for details of the overbooking, our emails were ignored

Lovely place, very clean, friendly staff. The food let it down, namely the lunch & dinner which was very average and took AGES. Nice setting with the gardens and pool. So much confusion over the lunch menu, they gave it to us then took it back three times as kept saying it was the wrong one!

It's such a lovely hotel with some super staff. Many thanks to Connie and her team, who were very efficient at their jobs . The pool is large and clean. The food was of good quality and the rooms were ultra clean and comfortable beds. Couldn't fault this hotel and would definitely return. Thank you

Very nice hotel. We stayed two nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It has a great swimming pool area. The food was amazing and the service excellent! Very affordable prices as well. Highly suggested. Perfect for relaxing between safaris

Food bad, breakfast acceptable, room acceptable. Meals, there were very few choices, most of the items in the menu were not available, for dinner or lunch. We ended up ordering pizza because the other items in the menu were not good and we are not fussy eaters, quite the contrary.

We only spent one night here as a stopover on a tour. Despite the name I didn't see any sign of the river. Our room was clean and comfortable, but it was quite close to a neighbouring bar which had loud music until 2am. The pool and bar area is very pleasant, surrounded by nice gardens. We enjoyed a nice dinner in the outside dining area.

Sedia Hotel offers excellent value and a super location for an overnight stay either side of a safari. The restaurant, pool and bar are great and offer a fantastic menu with delicious pizzas and fillet steaks being our favourite. The breakfast spread suited all tastes and the newly renovated rooms are most comfortable. The fact that airport transfers are included in the rate is most convenient and we would also like to thank the staff for their impeccable service!

The accommodation was excellent, rooms and linnen lovely and clean and fresh.The setting of the hotel around the pool is lovely,and the staff,very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, a very good restaurant with very tasty food.The reception staff were also very friendly and competent.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return and recommend it to our friends.
