Lovely place to stay. Great amenities, high standard of cleanliness, amazing breakfast and fab hosts. Great location for all of Newquay and parking is an added bonus! Will definitely be the first place I’ll look to book next time I visit. 😁

Always highest standards every year,breakfast fantastic. Superb location. John and Amy always a great source of local and and not so local restaurants and places to visit. Been back last 5 years and excellent will be back as long as John and Amy are there thank you

This is our second visit to Gecko's Rest and once again we were given a warm and friendly welcome by John and Amy. We have recommended this lovely guest house to friends. Our room had a sea view and had every thing we needed, together with a very comfortable bed. The breakfasts are varied and plentiful. We liked the availability of fresh milk and snacks from the dining room at all times. Thank John and Amy, we plan to visit again soon!

Great bed, good quality towels and linen, good use of space in the room, we had everything we could possibly need. Good breakfast, great friendly, service. Location is easy to get in and out of town. The walk to and from town was easily manageable despite being on a hill.

John and Amy are perfect hosts, friendly and helpful during the stay, the room had an amazing view and was definitely worth the stairs to get there. The breakfast had plenty of options and was enough to set you up for the day, we will stay again and recommend

What a fantastic B&B the experience from start to finish was amazing, warm welcome, free parking, beautiful room furnished to a very high standard, very comfortable bed, and room was very spacious with the best view. Breakfast was plentiful with a very wide choice and cooked to perfection. Only one criticism the weather. Would thoroughly recommend this B&B you won’t be disappointed. Stuart & Bev

Comfy clean rooms, good food, friendly hosts who were relaxed about us taking food back of an evening (eg take away fish and chips) which we were able to enjoy in the breakfast room. John and Amy ensured we had everything we needed for a most happy 3 nights stay in their home. Thank you much appreciated. John has a fun sense of humour too

Very friendly and helpful owners. They were in touch pre-arrival and were there to welcome us on the day. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with a view over Newquay to the sea. A comfortable bed, good shower, good Wi-Fi and an excellent cooked breakfast.
