The whole of Gkecko rest was fab,lovely room bright,bedding very comfortable slept really well,food was great,and hosts John and Amy were great,nothing to much trouble fab hosts.easy to access town,beaches and surrounding area's. Lovely place.

Clean, comfy and well presented room, breakfast was spot on, just what you needed to set you up for the day. The owners John and Amy are very helpful and pleasant. Will definitely recommend to friends and family, for a great stay in Newquay. Value you I thought was well worth it for the 4 days, good location, only 5-10mins walk from town and sea front.

Excellent location overlooking Newquay and sea just 5 minute walk down into shops bars and beaches. Friendly hosts who made us welcome. Clean hotel , excellent facilities and comfortable room. Breakfast lovely with choice of hot food and cereals etc. Car parking space was a bonus also. Highly recommend when visiting Newquay for its attractions and the surrounding tourist locations nearby in Cornwall. Thanks for a comfortable 2 night stay.

Geckos Rest is the type of B&B you wish you could find whenever you travel and are needing one. It’s the rare combination of right location, right hosts, right level of detail in every room, good food and a grown up attitude to running a B&B. The latter allows guests to top up room provisions when needed, borrow a DVD and stay in the room to play a board game when it’s chucking down with rain. It’s why previous guests rated the B&B so highly and why we agree with them. If we’re ever in Newquay we’ll undoubtedly book at Geckos Rest again.

Hospitality was second to none! John has extensive knowledge of the area which we found very valuable, Amy (the boss) cooks an amazing breakfast. Cleanliness throughout is excellent and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. Thank you so much.

Lovely stay at geckos rest. Stayed for 2 nights. Brilliant location, short walk to shops bars and restaurants and beach. Room was clean and well presented. Breakfast was lovely. Hosts were brilliant. Couldn't ask for more, And would definitely return for another stay

A very nice place with lovely hosts. Gekos Rest is perfectly positioned to explore the town and immediate area on foot whilst leaving your car in their car park. You can also walk to Fistral and other beaches easily. It is also a perfect base to explore the whole region. Our room was small but perfect for our needs having everything we could want right down to an ironing board and iron! Everything was in a first class state of repair and cleanliness; nothing we saw needed any attention whatsoever. Finally, the breakfasts were very varied and first class, all freshly cooked to order (if you chose a cooked one!) The price was reasonable as well. You can't go wrong if you choose to stay here.

We had a very lovely time on our anniversary. Geckos Rest is amazing! Very clean room and bathroom. Fantastic location with great view. Breakfast was awesome and very hospitable host. John and Amy are second to none. No complaints and all praises to them. Would gladly come back again with the family vacation at Cornwall next summer.

Beautiful hotel friendly and helpful owners, breakfast is absolutely great with the choices. Definitely would recommend in fact we are looking to go back next year and exploring more of the surrounding places, when you go into town people are so friendly
