10/10 from start to finish. The service made this experience for us. Not only is the hotel stunning and cleaned to perfection but every single staff member is so friendly and welcoming (which is a big thing for us). Shout out to Ellie on reception, it was her first day but you couldn’t even tell! She gave us tour around the hotel and checked us in spot on! Shout out to Ryan who greeted us for breakfast each morning. Such a smily, happy chap! The spa is absolutely amazing! Being able to use it as and when you want if you are a guest at the hotel. Worth every single penny and will be retuning for sure.

We have just returned from an offer we saw which was a Trio of delights, a stay in a cottage, an evening meal and spa treatment. All I can say what wonderful value for money, we hadn’t been to the Headland for five years and wow all I can say is the place is getting better with age. The refurbishments that have been done the wonderful Aqua which available anytime in your stay is all amazing not forgetting the breath taking views of fistral beach. The staff right from the start were extremely helpful and polite. We liked the laid back feel of the place but also the indulgent luxury, we most certainly leave it so long again. Thankyou

A fabulous week in a cottage. Couldn't have wanted more, the cottage was comfortable, well equipped, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits upon arrival. Molton brown toiletries. Comfortable bed and pillows Cottage was serviced daily by housekeeping staff (sterling job) always cheerful and friendly when we saw them around the village. Excellent breakfasts served by welcoming and helpful staff, not forgetting he poached eggs (when i had them) cooked to perfection.

People need to remember when doing reviews the saying "You're not at home you're on holiday!" But staying at The Headlands is nearly like being at home. Very cosy and comfy, very clean , gorgeous food and lovely staff. The spa is great! Top tip, grab a cocktail and watch the sunset .

We had a cheese and wine gift experience so waited until the weather would be better and we would get to see the sun setting as well. Very sunny outside and lovely beach views. This experience is served at the bar which actually is quite nice, you get the wine from the barman and feel you are not in the restaurant. You also get a birds eye view of the food prep and waiting activity for the restaurant. The chef came out and explained the cheese choices to us and the barman did the same with the wines. All very professional and friendly with it. Whilst not impacting on our visit I was able to watch the staff preparing courses and deliver them to guest tables. Calm food prep and quick to the table when ready. Teamwork very evident. Not so sure the supervisors in their blazers contributed much! Being local I could walk here and walk home, I love the atmosphere of this hotel and every visit over the years has felt special.

We had a lovely dinner and cocktails in the restaurant. The potato risotto was absolutely incredible, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The hotel is beautifully furnished and adds a sense of luxury to the surroundings. The staff are really friendly and made our visit special. We would absolutely recommend dinner here- it’s a lovely experience and actually very reasonably priced. My risotto was £24, and beautiful, whereas a revolting steak we had at another place was £20, and burgers were £17. The little bit extra you pay is absolutely worth it as part of a wider experience!

Excellent service and accommodation with a beautiful sea view too the meals at the terrace dinner are poor value for money as portions are very small and more attention is needed to the food rather than the gross profit %. You don’t server leeks as a veg to a chicken and leek pie !

Just back from our wonderful 4 night stay at this simply superb hotel and spa. Fabulous rooms with stunning sea and beach views. Staff were extremely pleasant and efficient. A classic quality hotel. Breakfasts lovely and all the facilities very impressive.

An incredible stay at the Headland on the 125 year anniversary deal. We are local but took advantage of the offer and felt like we were on holiday, the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, throughout the whole hotel, restaurant and spa facilities. The whole place is spotless, our room had the most amazing view of the sea and sunset (room 401). Would have loved to stay for longer and did not want to leave. We were able to bring our cocker spaniel along, who enjoyed the beach on the doorstep and was greeted by every member of staff. We could not have wished for a better stay and will be back. Thank you.
