Newquay Bay Resort

We had a fantastic new years eve celebration at porth venue. Mike and Simon were perfect hosts and along with great live music we had one of the best new year celebrations that we've had in a long time. There was no need to drive or wait for a taxi, we walked back to our caravan which made the start of 2025 brilliant. Fantastic night. Thank you guys for your hard work

We have just returned from a lovely 3 nights in Newquay bay. This site is the most peaceful I've ever stayed on, you are in a valley with a cow field on one side and it was lovely listening to them in the evening. The Porth Venue is a good size, the entertainment was lovely and there was always a lot of seating. There is a small arcade, with plenty of games but the change machines were not working when we were there so we couldn't use a lot of it unfortunately. The food at the bar was good, if a little expensive. I knew before hand that food is not served every night but saw a few people complaining about this. The bar staff were super friendly which was nice too. The outside pool looked really nice however was not open, the inside pool was good fun, if a little dated. We stayed in a 3 bed superior caravan and it was gorgeous. Spotlessly clean, all the amenities you need and modern furnishings. I saw a few people on here complaining about parking and having to walk to the caravan. We didn't have this issue but I saw the ones closer to the entrance were 3 rows deep without parking. At most a 20 yd walk, not a lot! I did see a few people moaning about the lack of mobile signal. I don't know how you can book a holiday and not adequately research it. It says this on reviews on here, on the website, email, and the telephone call they give you before you arrive, there is no way this should surprise you! We were well prepared and had downloaded lots of bluey for my 3 year old and lots of older shows for our 13 year old. It was actually lovely to get back to the caravan in the evening and not worry about emails or messages. Porth is lovely too, bit of a challenging walk to the beach as it's quite hilly but not too far. The beach is stunning and has a really good pub on it too. Overall the site was beautiful, the cleanest I've ever seen and the staff were wonderful, we would 100% stay again. It could just do with a bit of investment into the pools to ensure they are open and a bit more modern.

Good things first - the caravan was really good. The site is lovely and set in the countryside. The club house is good, with decent food and good entertainment for the kids. Our TV went off but was fixed more or less straight away by the maintenence crew, excellent. Negatives - in spite of asking for a caravan close to the centre, as we told them about our mobilitynissues, they put us at the far end, resulting in a half mile walk for a drink. There is no mobile phone signal, and caravans do not have wifi. One thing we wanted was to have breakfast coffee in the cafe. However, this shut on 1st September. We were not tod this when we booked, but on thenday of our arrival. This is not stated on the website. Very poor.

This place is a hidden gem, lovely heated outdoor pool to keep kids entertained, really nice food and menu at the port pub. B the first day I ordered a pizza, but was slightly overdone, then the next day we had pizza again and it was good. Lovely and friendly bar staff and good entertainment staff. Park was clean. Always somewhere to park you car. Nisa local on your door step in the resort park. Surfing lessons shop. Overall a really nice stay.

Wow, i have created an account just to write a review about this place. We have had the best holiday ever!!! The park itself doesn't have that many facilities on site but the people make up for it and really make your holiday special. From the friendly staff at the reception to the friendly bar staff and of course the AMAZING entertainment team who i would like to give a special shout out to because they work so hard!! it seems they never ever stop and yet still give there everything every single night. My little one would make me put a timer on my phone because she did not want to miss kids house party. Gina and Ashley, Thank you! There was a lovely blonde lady (i forgot her name sorry!!!) we saw her on 1-2 nights and she was amazing to. The food and drinks are a little pricey but the food was DELICIOUS!

We booked our caravan via Airbnb, so therfore I am only commenting on the holiday park, not the accomodation. Our family consisted of 2 adults (in their 50's) son and daughter in law (in their 20's) and granddaughter (aged 10) Our caravan was opposite guest services, so we were blessed with not having to walk too far for amenities. We only came for a long weekend, but found everything on site exceeded our expectations. ALL members of staff we encountered were happy, friendly, most helpful, and Ash and Jade particularly went up and beyond helping us enjoy our holiday to the max Thankyou :) such an asset for this park. My son and granddaughter used both swimming pools. Lovely and clean and warm! The spa and sauna was an extra bonus! They also took part in tye dye t-shirt, archery and axe throwing (these were a small additional cost) The arcade is small, and sadly found some areas weren't refilled and come evening, were looking empty, or were emptied. There is no facilities for cash back, the cash vending machine doesn't work, as it has no money in it, so ensure you have cash, as the nearest cashpoint is a 10 min drive away. Evening bingo is cash only! We found the park to be quiet, not overrun by teenagers hanging round in groups, that you normally find at holiday parks. There is plenty to do for all ages in Cornwall...indeed spoilt for choice!! Porth beach is stunning and is literally up the road. Highly recommend Perranporth, which is 25 mins drive away.
