staff was really friendly and always of help, location is phantastic, no pride in the room, the heating system is as loud as a landing aircraft, room is far too small especially what we paid for it. for an upgrade they requested around 250 USD/niight. bed size was far far too small for two people. 

We stayed for two nights over the Christmas holidays. The location was great and the facilities were clean. But the heater didn't work properly so it was a bit cold. No matter how much I turned up the temperature, only cold air came out. Other than this, overall I was satisfied.

Located in the Upper West Side, very safe and quiet, the room is quite big, worth recommending

I like the old money flavor of the hotel. The building is reddish-red, historical and beautiful. There is no restaurant.

The room is not big and a bit old. The air conditioner is the kind that is manually adjusted with a button, but the noise is not loud. The hotel is in a very good location, close to the subway station, there are many restaurants downstairs, and it is very close to Central Park, which is suitable for walking and touring the upper west.

The soundproofing of the hotel is very, very, very poor. You can hear the flushing of the toilet next door. The room we arranged is next to the gym on the second floor. From night to night until 2 a.m. and before 6 a.m., you can hear a "bang" every time someone comes in or out. The sound of the door opening and closing was so loud that I couldn't sleep until dawn. I communicated with the hotel to check out early, but they insisted on deducting more than 3,000 room charges and not refunding it. Worst experience ever, do not recommend staying here.

Standard service and convenient transportation.

I booked two superior twin rooms for 4 days. Considering that it was close to Columbia University, I came to the United States after a long journey. When I checked in, I was told by the front desk that it was a double bed room. I took the reservation form to negotiate, but the front desk was tough and said that the reservation was for a double bed room. I couldn't change rooms. The room I was given was very small and there was a problem with the toilet. I barely stayed for one night and negotiated a check-out with Ctrip. Fortunately, Ctrip was responsible and immediately helped with the cancellation. Thumbs up for Ctrip.

Simple appearance, good quality interior, quiet, clean and elegant room

The location is superb. There are various facilities in the nearby community, and there is a 24-hour Deli across the street, so you can buy food even if you arrive in the middle of the night. Very close to Central Park. The best choice for looking at schools and looking after children. The room is a bit small, but that's what it's like in the center of New York City
