The location of the hotel is excellent. Many things are in walking distance and central station is right next door. However the hotel did not meet expectations, cleanliness was not up to standard, employees were not friendly or helpful , the room was disappointing.

Stayed here as a family of 5! Location fab- rooms modern and nice. Super easy check in/out- would definitely stay here again!

After reading the reviews on here I wasn’t expecting too much from this hotel. I wanted to write some comments that reflect on the main themes I picked up (where they were similar and different). It seems I wasn’t charged the additional destination fee for my stay, although I had to ask a second member of staff to confirm as the first wasn’t clear. When I arrived for check in there was no wait. The staff member was not terribly friendly and welcoming. Of all the three hotels I stayed at in three different cities in the US, this stuck out as the poorest customer service. It wasn’t awful just not as welcoming as the other places. The information provided was not as clear and the general manner quite abrupt. The room was clean but the hotel generally was dated. The rooms didn’t seem fully clean or fresh but it was more that things were scratched, worn and dated rather than dirty. There were some stains on the carpet too. The location was, as others have said, excellent. I would have expected more for the price but it also was better than expected from reading some of the reviews on here.

Location was superb, next to the main subway station. The concierge staff was very friendly. They need to check that you're a guest before you can walk in to the hotel - this is probably because their lift does not enable guest only access to each floor - you do not need a card to go up to any floor. They charge a $39.99 destination fee and give you a $15 market value to buy food everyday.. (500ml water for $7.5, plain bagel for $5, ham and cheese bagel for $18...) They charge $4/bag for baggage storage after you check out.. Other than these 'small' charges, everything else is good.

Service is bad, location is good, the other things are not bad

The location is excellent. The room is spacious. However, additional $30/day destination fee is unexpected. Although hotel give us $15/day for the market purchase, all items there are pricy.

For our family it's perfect ! Very good location, easy to move on.

I tried to cancel but they wouldn’t let cancel and kept my deposit. I didn’t stay in the hotel but they kept my money. I didn’t want to stay in the hotel because of the extra fees they charged upon arrival. I lost over 400 dollars. They still won’t give my money back.

Great location. But the service standards absolutely disappointed. In room telephone was not working and despite repeated complaints it was not repaired through my stay of 4 nights. So basically we had to go down all the way to reception every time we wanted something at the room. From toiletries to food to water. Even the front desk as well as the duty manager simply expressed inability to do anything about it Initially even some of the lights in the room were not working. Clearly one of the worst stays of my life at a big brand hotel All in all a big disappointment
