Hotels in Tamsui Fisherman'S Wharf, New Taipei City

I specially brought my children to play, but the game room is very simple and requires a fee. The opening hours of the parent-child fitness center are very short and the space is not big. The hotel hardware is good although it is older, but it is still clean. There are really few service staff. All services are required. It’s really hard to wait and wait for breakfast. Many things are not replenished. The cafe on the first floor is also very hard to eat. It’s hard to believe that the food in this hotel is of this level. I was full of expectations for this hotel. Now I can only say that I probably won’t visit again.

Tamsui is a place where many ********* celebrities live, and the air is good. Although it is a bit far from the center of Taipei, it should not be a problem for people living in big cities in mainland China. This hotel is very clean, the sheets are very smooth and comfortable, and the mattress is also comfortable. The room is large, the shower and toilet are separated, and the room I stayed in has windows on both sides, so the lighting is very good! There is a sofa and a small coffee table in the room where you can sit down and eat, and the desk plug is convenient for charging and working. The breakfast variety is both meat and vegetarian, with ham, French fries, vegetarian dishes, mixed noodles, eggs, several kinds of bread and cheese, delicious hot soy milk, and Japanese cold noodles. The environment is very good and it is on the basement floor. Opposite the hotel are convenience stores Xiaoqi and Family Mart, as well as a large supermarket and noodle and dumpling restaurants. If there is a disadvantage, it is that they do not provide luggage porter service. If you have a lot of luggage, you need to push it upstairs one by one. For friends who go to Taipei City for tourism, shopping and Ximending, this hotel is a bit far from Taipei City. Even so, I will stay here next time I come to Taiwan!

There is a room for 4 people, with a sea view, the bed is enough for sleeping, and the bathroom is also spacious, but there is not much space in the room to open the suitcase. You have to move the sofa to open the suitcase. Hygiene is OK, but the shower head is too old, and the height and angle of the shower stand cannot be adjusted, which is inconvenient. The waiters were attentive and the breakfast style was not enough.

Because I ordered it for a friend. So I haven’t experienced it personally yet. I will try it out next time I have a chance.

A supposedly 4 star hotel that delivers the bare minimum. Nothing to shout about, had an unobjectionable stay here in January this year and was happy with the location and relatively clean room so decided to book again for 5 nights for my recent trip. Regretted my decision as I felt that the service was lackluster. Upon entering the room we saw that the double bed was made up by 2 twin beds unlike our initial experience so we approached the front desk to enquire if a change was possible as we do not like the feel of the gap between the beds and the light switches were behind our pillows making the lights on/off if we were to even lightly lean on the headboard. The answer we got was that we should have indicated that request upon check in and it is a common process for hotels to join 2 twin beds and sell them as a double room. The front desk manager also said the check in rate was 98% that night. We then asked if we could have a change the next day and the reply was to come down and check again tmr. No effort to assist and instead all we felt was him trying the shift the blame to us when all we requested was a double bed when it is available. That left an extremely sour taste in our mouth. The next morning, I woke up with red bites on my arms, legs and torso, however my partner didn't had any so I did not relate it to the cleanliness of the room. The next 2 morning remained to be the same and we requested a change of room which we were given. The itchiness subsided after the change. The staff also passed a cream for itchness to me. But she mentioned it may be mosquito bites which I can tell it isn't as they are in clusters. Location was convenient for us as it is near the banqiao transfer station and there are food choices around the hotel as well as a few family marts.

Have been to Taipei many times and previously been staying near Taipei main station. It was my first stay around Banqiao and first at this hotel. While definitely not as convenient a location relative to the main station, it was still quite a short MRT ride to popular tourist spots like ximending. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. The rooftop swimming pool was also nice and not crowded. All in all an excellent hotel that i would recommend and likely book when i visit Taipei again.

Hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. They do offer underground parking and you will get a token that needs to be check at the lobby counter every time before you head out. We enjoyed the swim pool and it provides nice view of the city.

Nice hotel, great location, plenty of food choices nearby and close to the MRT/train/High speed rail station. The room is clean, might not be very spacious for 2 persons but more than enough for a solo traveller. I love some design details such as mirrors are perpendicular to the bed and bathtub, smart toilet and how they put the amenities. Overall a great stay for short periods.

This second stay, the front desk service is good, this time is staying in an environmentally friendly room, clean and standard, if you return to Taiwan, you will order again

1. The counter response training was insufficient. Due to his own negligence, he was unable to find the passenger's booking information (all available information was provided to the counter). When he finally found it, he kept explaining that it was because the passenger's information was provided incorrectly, which is extremely ridiculous; 2. The room facilities are old and the bed is hard; 3. There are some hairs on the bed and bathroom and the TV remote control feels like it has not been wiped for a long time; 4. The location is very good. It is only a 5-minute walk from Banqiao Station and there is a bus stop downstairs. It is very convenient to go anywhere.
