Coastal Waters

We have stayed in 4 different units over the years. They are individually owned and have property managers. Very reasonably priced. Located on the drive part of the beach, which makes for fun people watching. All the places we have stayed are nicely kept, no frills. If you like upscale, modern features, this is not the place for you. We like the smaller places and don't mind older kitchen equipment. Everything works! Parking can be a hassle. The county changed the parking on the south side to a pay lot. Main lot fills up easily and you must go across the street. Crossing back and forth on a very busy street can be unnerving at times. We like it and keep coming back, but be aware what you are getting so you are not disappointed.

I had low expectations after reading all these reviews, so I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. The pool area was fine, other than a little rust at the bottom of the tables. The location on New Smyrna beach was great. It’s right on the water and a short walk to this restaurant on the left that has an outside bar. There are plenty of sun loungers and tables around the pool. I had a room upstairs, which I’ve read some reviews that say they’re nicer than the lower floor. Our room was cute and modern and had a nice upgraded bathroom. For the price it was a good value.

They refunded me 1 nights payment for ALL of the issues we had Zero toiletries, front door lock did work, 1/2 roll of TP no paper towels sand in sheets on one bed. Called 3 different times for help and they kept saying they were waiting for Housekeeping to call back Housekeeping finally came late afternoon of 2 bd day only after owner called

We checked in, and left immediately after to find another hotel! We knew this was not a new property, but we expected it to be clean. They offered to send the maid back over, but did not apologize and insisted that it had a "clean room report" before check-in. We did not stay, and WILL NEVER stay in this awful place. Our kids were PISSED when they first saw this and thought they would have to stay here.

This place needs a good cleaner ! So dissatisfied with the price. Gross ! Worst place I’ve stayed in florida - not cleaned properly - the beds were not changed someone else’s eye makeup all over the pillow cases and stains on sheets - the shower had someone elses hairs in it and not from their head that we ended up cleaning ourselves ! We seen the cleaners roll in - in a pickup truck with the supposedly clean sheets and towels in back and leave outside ??? We asked for new sheets and then seen the stains on mattresses and pillows … which was almost worse than the dirty sheets … nothing in area to do really … no one cleans the pool area or garbages - so gross . Old cheetos in couches … gross kitchen . Best part was the new toilet lol. The front window was broken and duct taped which was unsafe feeling for 2 women alone - also dusty … the room we were in was 212 - you can lean on the window currently and pop out. The walls had not been cleaned , kitchen light falling down … a fake eyelash at pool area for 4 days straight. No front desk. The old front desk area smells like an outhouse maybe … the room smelled very fishy smelling … over flowing garbage in pool areas … just not a good safe place at all … falling apart needs a good clean properly and care every day lol … whoever maintains this is a con artist !

Well, the location is great. I found out this place got hit by the hurricane, very sad. That being said, maybe owners should not rent out the unit if it is not fully repaired. I am staying in unit 116, and it looks nothing like the photos. Very old beat up couch, which was supposed to be a sleeper sofa, floors obviously where replaced but there are chunks of grout all over. The bathroom is a mess, maybe they ate still working on it. No pictures on the walls. Only a beat up old couch, huge tv and coffee table in the living room. I am having to share the bed with my friend. At least the bed is super comfy. I am really disappointed after paying almost $600 for three nights. The property manager is super helpful and the poor girl who cleans the units has no help. I will not be back or recommend this place. Owners said they had not updated photos on the web site. They need to do that. I feel very duped.
