Ramada by Wyndham New Orleans

First room won’t open so they had to change the room. Second room had a heavy smell of **** and the smoke detector was covered with a bag. The furniture was mostly broken and old. The floor was not that clean. We expected worse so we accepted the room. Front desk is not the friendliest but the breakfast lady is very helpful and friendly but speaks only spanish. Would definitely not stay again.

Great spot ,atmosphere terrific friendly folks in the area ,interstate very close which makes bourbon street near close on the city that never sleeps

Not a great place to stay area has alot of workin girls Hotel is worn out Could not get door lock to work properly So had to change rooms Lady at desk was helpful considering Took a deposit on arrival. Told me i would get it back on check out but then said 5 buisness days when i checked out. Took the kids down for breakfast but there was nothing but coffee and a few donuts. Who eats donuts for breakfast? Fridges were empty Waffle machine on display but not working Pretty sad. Not a good experience for kids .

Room was updated and didn't look gross. Good room for the price. Breakfast wasn't bad but it was from 6-9am which seems entirely too early for weekend travelers

Service was amazing. Let us keep luggage there til we could check in. Was always happy to assist when we needed

Terrible hotel, dirty rooms, dirty baths, dirty towel, location is super dangerous, please do not stay in this hotel

This was a weekend get away. The property was exactly like the picture. The only thing I would make a concern is the doors was not secured and the bathroom sink did not drain. And the phone in the room did not work.

I am an independent hotel quality inspector. Companies hire me to inspect the quality and service of their franchise locations. I recently visited your Ramada at 6303 Chef Menteur Hwy location in New Orleans, LA on a private trip. The condition at this location needs drastic improvement. The staff was great and helpful however, there were several misleading amenities and cosmetic issues. The paint is chipping on several units (hazard). There were stains (blood) on the window shades. The bed covering smelled like ashes and smoke, although this is a non-smoking hotel. There was no breakfast as advertised. The nook where the microwave, vending, and ice machine is located was very hot with no air circulating(Health hazard). Lastly the gated entry does not keep out unwanted guests as no verification was performed or a keyless entry pad provided at the gate(security hazard). The attendants (or automatic gate) simply opens for every car. Lastly the security latch screws on the room door were very loose(security hazard). I personally tightened them myself. The room door deadbolt hole was hollowed out and was not secure as it could be. The toilet seat was loose and slides as a person sits down on it (safety hazard). The artwork was lovely. I would rate this hotel a 4 on a 10 scale. Budget friendly does not mean skip on the quality.
