The Maidstone New Orleans

Location convenient by cab or uber to everything. Room was clean and staff very friendly. A low key type of vibe— not big chain , no extra fees etc. . No tv in room no frig and no maid service during our 4 day stay. We were able to take towels down to lobby for fresh ones. Recommended for a no frills out of the main action type of spot. We would stay there again

It was a truly lovely staycation! I swam in the heated pool, had drinks brought to me, slept in a deliciously comfortable bed. I was very well taken care of too, Cory is the best.

The pool was closed due to a glass breakage. The staff were friendly and did their best to address the issue. It would be nice if coffee were offered in the morning, or some other modest compensation for the loss of use of the pool. The restoration of the midcentury building and the courtyard garden is of high quality.

Manager and staff were awesome. No amenities - no TV no refrigerator no microwave no safe no telephone to call the front desk and no restaurant on site. Pool was very nice.

Very good stay, staff were all friendly and extra helpful. Room was great especially considering the price paid for it. Extremely pleased with this place. Very cool vibes, don't be fooled by the exterior, the grounds themselves, lounge, staff, and rooms were all awesome

This hotel was excellent overall. I was pleasantly suprised as I was in town for a project and booked a last second one night stay as it was very close. The outdoor areas are amazing, pool is central to the whole space, very clean and tranquil. I was especially drawn to the modern-retro design of the spaces and decor. The bar/check-in area definitely reminded me of places I had been as a child, but still created an atmosphere that invited me to relax and have a drink. The rooms keep this same vibe going though there was not a tv in my room (i assume this was intentional). The bathroom, while on the small side, was intentionally designed and the water pressure was AMAZING! ( a definite plus). The only significant criticism I have is that while trying to leave to get breakfast, I was informed by the overnight security guard that he was leaving (about 7ish I think) and that nobody would be there to let me back in until after 9 when the staff showed up. My intention was to grab breakfast then come back. So i ended up packing my stuff and leaving early so as not to be sitting outside unable to return to my room. I would highly recommend this space and look forward to coming back!

Staff was great! Only complaint was I needed an iron and ironing board. Super clean room and awesome cabanas and pool area

Rooms did not have TVs, and bathrooms were tiny. There was no cups, shampoo, blanket, etc. in the room. You cannot get into the property after midnight too.

Barely anything in walking distance -- there are zero on property amenities. There is no daily cleaning. The room had lots of residuals of past guests (used towel hanging in bathroom, un-vacuumed floor). Rooms and "lobby" and pool area well designed, but that's all it has going for it.
