The location is excellent, just 10 minutes walk from New Delhi station. The facilities are very much satisfactory. Staff behaviour is also very good. The Hotel ***ager is very cooperative. In a word a truly professionally ***aged hotel in Pahargunge area.

If you are going to travel somewhere, you must check Trip Advisor reviews to avoid doubting the accuracy of other sites' reviews.Because I booked Hotel Shelton by following their reviews of Go ibibo, Make My Trip etc but the service of hotel shelton is so bad, I just can't imagine it.We took three super deluxe rooms which are smaller than the standard rooms,There is also a big rat in the hotel room, asked to change to a very very small room,In the name of changing our room, we give the room key (Next day) to hotel's reception and we come back and see that no room has been provided to us.Just imagine that the hotel guests go for a walk and their room is given to another guest.I have never had such a bitter experience.

The best part of the hotel are the staffs. They were very helpful. We were attended by Mr. Sahid. He was utmost supportive and made our stay memorable. Thank you Mr. Sahid! Plus, it is 5 minutes away from New Delhi Railway station

The ***agement, services and cooperation are missing. Staffs are ill ***nered and cheaters. Not safe for family. Quality and services are very poor, hygiene is questionable. Don't get cheated. Avoid this hotel

I stayed there recently with family for 3 days. location is good as located in the main market. Room was clean to be able to stay. Staff is helpfull & approachable if anything needed. Towels could have been more cleaner as they looked little unclean or old. There was renovation going on in the hotel so lot of dust around. Don't know why they would take bookings with renovation on. There was issue with the hot water in washroom as the water flow was too slow even after they trying to fix it. So ultimately had to change the room after surviving for a night. Requested the reception and they were kind enough to realise that & do so. Other room also had similar problem but they ***aged to fix it. I wish they had better system with hot water to take bath as we had to wait for 20-30 minutes each time someone took bath as it starts pouring cold water. It's a bit hard specially, if you are with a parent who is a senior citizen. Other than that the stay was good in the budget we booked.

Room cleaning only when asked. Cokroches take charge when you get out the room. No regular water supply in toilet. No inhouse food facility but still offer food while booking online. If food include in package they order from outside and charges are almost double. Don't invite you for the food but never forget to charge for it.

No doubt room condition was as per picture, but wash room was pathetic, washbasin tap was loose, floor slope and drain was bad and remains always wet after shower, towel were old and yellowish white in color, with dirty humid smell, toilet paper was given only on de***d, shower does not has hot water provision, you have to use bucket and mug. Food quality and serving in the room was totally non professional.
overall not a good return of money.

When we arrived at the hotel the did not have a room for us. They were already at max capacity. It was late at night and we had first worked the whole day and then traveled for 6h to get to Delhi.
The staff was helpful in that they offered me a room in what they called a related hotel. The first place we came to, I just refused to stay. They then offered me a different room in a third hotel. It was newly renovated but very small. It was by then so late and we were too tired to make anymore fuss. So we accepted the room with a significant discount. We then had also ask them to change the sheets as they were not clean and had not been changed. So all in all we spent almost 2 hours to finally be able to settle down for the night.
