Quinta Do Albergue Do Bonjardim

I stayed here with my partner for 4 nights. The aesthetic is wonderful (as you'll see from the other reviews). The hosts are wonderfully friendly with great English. The surprise menu is great value and high quality in the adjacent restaurant (which is only a tiny walk from the room and perfect after a few wines!) We stayed in the main house and the bed was super comfortable with high thread count sheets. The breakfast is also not to be missed. Would stay again and recommend to anyone and everyone!

This is the place where you find peace eating excellent food. You can watch the stars, admire the landscape and enjoy wines that make you smile. The owners and the cook are very kind and helpful: they are excellent hosts. What I appreciated the most, was the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. You will not regret comming here. I promise! Enjoy

We booked our stay with Huub & Will at very short notice just for a few days whilst we were house hunting in the region. They were extremally accommodating & kind hosts We had visited the restaurant a few times with our son & his wife, as they moved to Portugal to start a new life amongst beautiful scenery, peaceful countryside & an abundance of good food & wine. We have always had a wonderful meal, a great selection of amazing courses & beautiful wines to complement each course. Huub is a great storyteller and makes the entire meal an unforgettable experience. We were served the most delicious breakfast in the garden in the mornings, fresh bread delivered daily, cooked meats, cheese, fresh fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt & cereals. Our suite was very comfortable , homely and a lovey balcony overlooking the pool and vineyards. All in all a wonderful stay, thank you both so much for your generous hospitality.

Although we did not stay in the hotel we stayed in our motorhome at this wonderful vineyard. The hosts could not have been more hospitable. We sampled their delicious organic wine. Had fresh bread delivered each morning. Views of the vineyards, idyllic setting. We will most definitely return during the season when everything is fully open. Thank you Lenders family for making it such a memorable visit.
