The best hotel that we have ever stayed at. The staff were hard working and amazing. Friendly and accommodating. The rooms were fully furnished with a kettle and fridge and an beautiful balconly. There was no disturbance or problem. Recommended full throttle (charlie's angel reference). The food is excellent and there is a pool. Please try it.

The pool was very small although the sunbed grassed area was adequate but it was next to a busy road which was unhelpful The rooms are ancient and the beds are uncomfortable although the housekeeping staff supplied some quilts to make them more comfortable but the furniture was old and outdated and the balcony was ridiculously small. There was no tea or coffee in the room or utensils to make anything although there was a fridge so we brought our own. The corridors were very noisy and people were talking loudly at night which kept us awake. On occasions there were no staff at the bar and reception so sometimes we had to wait at least 20 minutes for service. The only positive was Ishmael the bar and restaurant manager, He was very friendly and helpful and to be perfectly honest, is too good at his job to be working at this hotel and deserves to be in a better occupation. The food was OK, Just OK In my opinion the hotel needs a total refurbishment and how it has 3 Star status I am amazed, Its a two star at the most

I had reserved a room which I had paid in advance, and on the day of departure I paid for the breakfast. When I check my credit card account later, I see that the hotel has carried out two transactions on my card this day, they have correctly charged me for the breakfast, but they have also charged me for the room once more. When I contact the hotel by e-mail, they first reply that it is now the tourist season and that I cannot expect to get the same price every time. When I once again clarify that they have taken payment twice, they stop answering. Stay far away from this hotel, they are scamming you.

Only went for restaurant as staying elsewhere. Had lunch. Extremely reasonable prices. Good choice. Our meals were excellent, and big portions for what we paid. Very good service. We had been walking from Maro to Torre de Maro, and felt that if you stayed in this hotel a car may be necessary though buses run from very close by.

Very basic place but for the money I really couldn’t complain…. If you stay here your definitely best to have a car to get to the beach, town etc as it’s quiet a distance if your walking … Air conditioning worked great, bed nice and comfortable and the room was also spacious. We chose not to eat in the hotel as the breakfast was basic ham, cheese, bread etc All in all worth it for the price.

Visited for dinner as a family of eight as we were staying in a villa nearby. It was very quiet, never a good sign. Waitress was a bit difficult arranging us to sit together, and there was no drinks menu which made ordering quite tricky with the language barrier. Three of us ordered the Cordon Bleu which was the first dish to arrive out. All three were completely raw inside the breadcrumbs, could have made us so ill and ruined our holiday. It's only by the luck of me needing to cut my young children's food for them that we noticed before anyone ate. We immediately made to leave, said we would pay for the drinks but would not be staying to eat and refused to pay for the meals. They threatened to call the police, became very aggressive while on the phone to the manager. Eventually we were able to pay for just the drinks and left. We will not return and will warn anyone away from here! Shockingly bad. Avoid!

We had been promising ourselves a visit to the stunning Nerja caves for several years and eventually decided on the Hotel Al-Andalus as our base. This 3* Hotel is perfectly located for such a visit, being only a 5 minute walk from the Cave's entrance (it's wise to pre-book entry online), and it's conveniently close to the (shielded) motorway, although this results in some traffic noise. Guests wishing to visit the main part of town/Balcon de Europa should note that it is c.10/15 minutes by car. The Hotel has ample free parking, a pool, a sizeable restaurant/bar with reasonable prices and a very welcome terrace. Our room was simply decorated, but spacious with a balcony and facilities were adequate for a short-stay. A buffet breakfast was included with our tariff and, although the selection was fairly limited, it was pleasant to eat outside on the terrace. In summary, an enjoyable experience which I would totally recommend for those intending to visit the Caves. However, it is too far from the main town to be convenient for those primarily intending to visit the beach or the numerous bars, shops and restaurants in the centre.

muy mala. poca limpieza desayuno. mala atencion camarero .desayuno muy escaso.de los cinco dias de cena se quedo sin fruta por que tenian mucha faena .teniedo problemas a la latosa .pedir agua y tener que traerla el guia los camareros pasando de todo . la habitacion para dormir deconeztar la nebera si no se puede dormir. no se puede cerrar la puerta con llave al salir tiene truco. para ducharte no tiene puerta de cierre agua fuera
