We stayed in Toboso for three nights, we left the hotel yesterday morning. We had a small baby and an autistic child of almost 4 years with us. Toboso's website claims to welcome children of any age, this really is very untrue. For three consecutive nights, we had loud music from parties fill our room, this was greatly upsetting the child with autism who spent every night screaming. When we booked we advised that we had a special needs child with us. When we complained, reception told us that Cochrans (The ajoining outdoor venue) don't tell them when parties are booked. This was no excuse. We should have been told that there was a possibility of unacceptable noise. Especially when staying with a special needs child. Nothing was mentioned. Our stay can only be described as living hell. Thump thump thump till 11 30 and then the remaining crowd screaming and laughing till after 2 in the morning EVERY NIGHT. They should warn people before they stay. We dreaded coming back to the apartment each evening. We were sleep deprived for three nights and had to face the consequences of tired cranky children the next morning. This was not a holiday at all. I really have to describe my stay as horrendous. I was very much dissatisfied with this hotel. They have a duty of care to guests to advise them of anything that might adversely affect their stay. I don't expect perfect quiet on holiday, I accept that there will always be noise in a holiday area but this was unprecedented, I have recordings of the noise from within the apartment and family and friends cannot believe what they hear. This is just not good enough. Probably a great venue for young, singles who love to party, great location and lovely views. But be fair, let people know when booking especially if small or special needs children are staying.
