Nellim Wilderness Ressort is a perfect location for exploring Lapland. The log suite room we had most of the time is really nice with private sauna, enough space for all your stuff. The Aurora Bubble however is so small, that you can hardly open your suitcase and the windows are often covered with snow/ice so that you might not have full sight on the stars and the aurora (if it's there). The food in the restaurant was excellent - much better than expected. There were some lappish dishes as well - but if you don't stay for longer, you might miss the reindeer stew which would be a puty. The staff was super friendly even if the hotel was fully booked and the rush hours in the restaurant not easy to handle. All the activities were perfectly organized and the guides were really keen of providing a good experience. There is just one critical comment on the pricing: This has been by far the most expensive trip we have ever booked. For the Aurora Bubble but also for the log suite I think the rates are simply too high. Considering the enormous amount that you have to pay for this hotel, there are some really unacceptable charges (that we all refused to pay!): Charging 25 Euros for becoming a member of a WhatsApp group (aurora alert) is a shame and must be for free - especially as this feature is advertised on your homepage Charging for additional towels is a no-go! Charging for the aurora presentation (given twice a week) is not adequate as this is why people come there - should be an additional offer without charges. If you booked a whole adventure week for some thousand Euros, you should be given snowshoes and cross country skis for free (of course only if available, expeditions of course have priority) Reserving the public sauna is fine, but again, it should be free of charge. With all these additional charges you get the impressing that the management wants to "melk" their guests as much as possible - and this is totally unnecessary and annoying. Overall, I would still highly recommend this location.
