Perfect location, with a lovely swimming pool, you can be in the pool and gaze across the sand to the azure blue Indian ocean, or watch the local lads play cricket on the beach. All very serious stuff. The staff are wonderfully helpful and caring, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is good with a reasonable choice. They even arranged 'sri lankan' breakfast for my wife. The pool and surroundings are cleaned every day, and are always spotlessly clean. The hotel is close enough to the many restaurants and shops on Lewis Place to walk , but situated back from the road to be a peaceful retreat. Recommended, yes 100%, we have already booked to return next year, excellent value.

Very nice hotel right at the beach with a swimming pool. Friedly staff. Lots of TV channels, good A/C, hot water during daytime (Solar). Local and western breakfast. Some places to eat around this hotel. We did not like the strong smell coming from the bathroom sometimes. Need a good big fan. We had small one, but the best room with sea view and balcony. I got electric kettle to heat up some water for my herbal drink..

Star Beach is a hidden treasure in Negambo. The hotel has everything you need and the price is phenomenal. Cleanliness of room is impeccable. The staff cater for your every need and nothing is too much trouble. The food is incredible. Newly built pool and landscaped gardens make the hotel feel inviting and welcoming. The proximity to Negambo town is amazing and the beach front is on the door step. Highly recommend this family run business. We were treated like we were part of the family throughout our stay.

Worst place. I am travelling alot. Specially in negombo. But this hotel is the worst place I have ever been. Customer service is nill. Highly dissatisfied with their service. poorly maintained the property. Not recommending to anyone. Zero stars.

Visited here with my friends. Very poor customer service. They were very rude. Food was hopeless. Didnt taste good at all. The bathrooms were not clean. Do not recommend at all. Extremely dissapointed.

Worst experience ever. Went with my sister and my best friend. Booked a triple room. Suddenly they said they wont allow one girl and two boys in the room. We clearly said that we didnt come here to do filthystuff. Its just a day out. But they said its their policy. I dont know what sort of a policy is that. So please think twice before you boom this place.b not recommending at all. Service is ultra worst.

Really old building, bathroom taps broken, they put Tap water for the guests! Wifi doesnt work at all! They say One Price in the check in after check out they say different Price. Dirty ROOMS, SPIDERS AND LIZARDS.
