Taka Matanzas

We feel so lucky to have our friends bring us to thus gorgeous hotel. The view is spectacular, the room is so well designed and inviting. We got a good workout in the gym then enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub and a Pisco Sour. Dinner was marvelous!

Beautiful resort, cozy, elegant with a modern flair! Everything you need or you didn't know you want, is here! Beautiful pools overlooking the Pacific ocean, hot tubs to soak in while the sun sets, a fire pit to keep warm in the cold winters, or to tell stories around it ! A lot of spaces in or outside, to lose time in, have a drink, read a book, or gaze at the waters around! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with good food and amazing music! The rooms are alike, cozy and inviting! Warm, carying people are waiting for you here! Book a room now for an amazing experience! Plus, on of the best Piscos made by the Pisco Master!

This hotel is stylish with a laid back vibe. The rooms have a natural feel with a comfy bed, effective shower and a good sized balcony with sun and shade. Pay a little for one with a sea view as it is well worth it. The grounds are well tended with lots of native plants and there are private sun beds, a giant chess and a mini skate park. There are two TV rooms both of which have Netflix and Amazon Prime. There are two swimming pools with ample loungers, low key music and shade and there is a spa with massages but I didn’t use it. It’s a great place to unwind for a few days on the coast. However there are a few things to know or you won’t enjoy it. 1. It’s about 2k from Matanzas up a steep hill and there are no taxis or Uber so if you go into town you need to drive and pay for parking. I wouldn’t advise walking back along the main coast road in the dark 2. Complicated food is not their thing. Breakfast which doesn’t start until 9 is simple and samey and apart from that they mostly serve pizza in the bar. If you want a coffee, you get one for free from reception. 3. There is no air conditioning. This didn’t bother us as we set up a nice through draft but it might some people. However there is a heater in the room. 4. The staff are young and friendly but if you don’t speak Spanish not many speak good English although they try and communication wasn’t a big issue. 5. No TV in the room and the Wi-Fi is a weak outside the main hotel buildings That said it’s probably the nicest hotel in Matanzas and armed with this info you should have a great stay

El lugar es maravilloso, muy bien cuidado y lleno de detalles . Lo mejor eso si fue la atención recibida y el restaurante y desayuno. Solo deseo volver con más tiempo para usar todas las instalaciones a que sólo alcance al spa y el hoy tuve en este viaje

"Fue una experiencia increíble. Llegamos buscando un descanso después de mucho tiempo y encontramos más de lo que esperábamos. La Paz y el silencio que rodean el hotel Taka es todo lo que está bien . La conexión con la naturaleza y la posibilidad de mirar las estrellas en la noche es algo que no se ve en todas partes, cuando uno entra al Taka no necesitas salir, tienen de todo! cada vez que íbamos a la habitación, sentimos todo muy cálido y acogedor . Todo estaba perfectamente dispuesto para relajarnos y disfrutar. La comida deliciosa y el servicio atento fueron los toques finales para hacer nuestra estadía inolvidable. Taka Matanza es más que un hotel, es un espacio para reflexionar, pensar y reconnectarse con uno mismo. ¡Altamente recomendado!"

Excelente experiencia ! Destacar la amabilidad de las personas que trabajan en Taka , muy cariñosos y preocupados de todos los detalles para hacerte vivir una linda escapada . Desayuno muy rico , habilitaciones cómodas . Entorno soñado ,lindos jardines , hermosas vistas .
