Our room was a good size. Warm and comfortable, with coffee making facility. We overlooked the pretty garden and countryside beyond. We also had a large en-suite shower and basin in the room but no toilet. We had to use the downstairs one, which is clearly the hosts’ own downstairs toilet. There is one other room, which does have a bathroom upstairs, but it is not an ensuite. You really need a robe and slippers for this arrangement and it was not what we expected from the description. The village is lovely but there are no nearby restaurants, so take a picnic or be prepared to get back in the car. Breakfast was lovely. Breads, cheese, meat and eggs, with copious amounts of coffee and a great selection of teas provided by the friendly host. I do agree with others that it is overpriced without proper en-suite rooms. Two other points to note are that the hosts live at the property and when they say checkin from 17.00 that is what they mean, so early arrival is not recommended.

Excellente adresse, le couple nous accueille dans sa magnifique demeure entourée d’un beau jardin. La chambre avec sa salle de bains attenante est très bien aménagée au 1er étage. Le petit déjeuner a 14 euros est convivial et le couple qui nous accueille est charmant. Je recommande pour une halte au calme et romantique.
