Disappointed with the service and lack of basic hospitality I recently stayed at the Grand Rio Nashik and, unfortunately, my experience fell well short of expectations. Right from the start, basic bathroom amenities were missing from the room — something I feel should be standard in any decent hotel. I had to call twice just to get them delivered, which was frustrating and avoidable. What disappointed me even more was the handling of a discount voucher I was given at check-in for use at their restaurant. I genuinely forgot to use it during dinner, and when I asked at checkout if they could adjust the discount then, both the cashier and manager refused flatly, insisting it had to be redeemed during the meal. I get that policies exist, but the complete lack of understanding or willingness to help left a really bad impression. It’s small things like this — basic amenities and a bit of flexibility — that make a big difference in a guest’s stay. Sadly, I didn’t feel valued or cared for, and that’s not something I’d expect from a property that presents itself as premium.
