Facilities: washing basin is on the balcony instead of with toilet and shower due to its original function as local government hostel. Public bath although not spring water, still good enough to enjoy traditional Japanese. Convenience store in basement open till 7:30pm. Small clothes drying rack is convenient for overnight underwear or socks. Reception: great service with always someone speaks languages other than Japanese. Also it has free daily activities such as making origami deers. Great place to have a relaxed tour in Nara. The downside of the place is the wifi signal a bit weak inside the room, while perfect near the hallway and inside the building. Also the coin laundry and dryers really need a good clean or replace the filter more regularly. All in all, a great experience staying in the Nara Visitor Inn! Thanks!
