The accommodation at Sarova Maiyan is commendable, offering a comfortable and pleasant stay. However, the dining experience leaves room for improvement. While the meals are generally acceptable, many of the roasts were cold, which detracts from the overall quality. Enhancing the consistency and warmth of their dishes could significantly improve the guest experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sarova Maiyan for a night, and it was an amazing experience. The property is beautifully surrounded by nature, making it an ideal spot for families with kids. The serene beauty of the place immediately set a relaxing tone for our stay. The resort offers a variety of amenities that cater to all ages, including a basketball court, golf course, kids' play area, and a Jacuzzi. These facilities kept everyone entertained and added to the overall enjoyment of our visit. The staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous, ensuring that we felt welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly enhanced the experience.

This was my first visit to Sarova Maiyan. The good: the food was good. Fresh and well prepared with a wide variety of options. The pudding desserts were my favorite! The conference facility was lovely. Gazebo style overlooking the lake. A serene place to get work done with no distractions The rooms were spacious and quite comfortable! And the rooftop view is amazing. The not so good: Majority of the activities were available during our stay which was unfortunate.

Nice, spacious, quiet rooms and staff always helpful. But very average food especially breakfast) and the central areas (bar etc.) not special at all. Also awful live music/singing at dinner in the evening - way too loud and intrusive. Gloomy conference rooms for our workshop - these interconnect so you need to make sure there isn't anyone next door to you having a noisy workshop

The rooms were absolutely beautiful and spacious, however the rooftop area was could use some proper cleaning. Breakfast was absolutely terrible,never had such horrible breakfast anywhere and It wasnt worth the amount of money charged. 3500 ksh for 1 boiled egg,1 pancake, 2 hard sausages,2 pieces of cassava,2 pieces of arrowroots and 2 pieces of sweetpotatoes, a cup of tea,a tiny glass of juice. Like really?

My lunch service food served by the pool side was unbelievably bad. Broke my tooth on a bone whilst eating a boneless lamb curry! To make maters even worse came down with a bad case of food poisoning 24 hours later! Kids Pisa's were dry with no tomato paste. My wife' food was equally bad. Certainly wont be coming back to this place to eat again, they really do need to up their game in the kitchen department.

The Maiyan Villas are wonderful. The rooftop pool and Jacuzzi stood out for me. The pillows were so soft and fluffy, I slept like a baby. The food tastes so good, its clear that they do use organic farm produce. Best part is that they grow the food in their farm. The outdoor gym is also a different experience altogether. Finally, the staff are very well trained with exceptional service.

A lovely hideout nestled in Nanyuki overlooking Mount Kenya. Loved the food, kids’s activities and the rooms. Lots of activities - heated pool and hacuzzi in the rooftop villas, horse riding, golf, tennis, fishing. Being a new establishment, it’s a good start.

I went for a stay with family. Amazing place and stay. The staff are very friendly, the food and ambiance is great. The rooms are spacious, self-contained and very well maintained. Road access is rough for the last 1km because of construction but nothing to worry about.
